Backlash against Juan William's remarks was swift throughout Twitter.

Absolutely !
I never really had respect for her as I only started caring about politics since 2000 or so. By that time she was a RINO. I found it funny that people I work for that are Republican actually still thought of her as a conservative bellweather. Hopefully after the tea party and the rise of conservatism they now think differently of her. They read the Wall Street Journal and The Weekly Standard which to me seem more like a RINO mag more than true conservative fare even though it purports to be the conservative standard. maybe it once was but with RINO columists mixed in you have to weight it with a grain of salt.
I thought it was weird too. I figured Noonan is a RINO of the highest degree and well Romeny is an obvious RINO, so I figured she’d be a huge Romeny cheerleader. Is Noonan even left of Romeny?
exactly it was a heartfelt story and she does seem like a private person not needing to be in the spotlight like the Obamas.
Is Alan interested in women? I didn't realize that.
I noticed that too as I was curious to see what MSNBC and CNN would be saying after the former campaign advisor for Obama who spoke and was making good points and MSNBC had some black liberal guy throwing him under the bus since he used to be a Democrat but was speaking in favor of Republicans and there was another guy on there saying he might as well be a Republican now, also throwing him under the bus. I forget the guys name but he did a great job at making Obama look like a miniscule zero that he is.
The irony is he is married to Monica Crowley (conservative radio talk show host and sometimes fill in guest host for OReily as well as weekly guest on O Reily and occasional guest on Hannity. I only recently discovered this and it is kind of strange as they usually pit Monica Crowley against Alan Colmes on a weekly segment on O'Reily and she routinely makes him look like a limp wristed fool.
Something pretty sick about that. Sounds like they go home after the public humiliation and mommy spanks him. Ick.
Your post nails it 100%. This is the same reason liberals (women especially) have that same degree of hatred, envy and jealousy over a woman like Sarah Palin. She is everything they are not and it pisses them off.
Then I withdraw my remark. I don’t usually watch Alan Colmes (or indeed much TV of any kind) so I don’t know anything about his life.
Hitting the nail on the head—several times, squarely!
Noonan’s a tremendous disappointment. She wrote some of the most beautiful speeches any president has given;but she fell quickly to the dark side. After her commments about Palin, I’ll never trust another word she says.
The comment made by Juan Williams was so insulting, where did Michelle Obama get her money? Crony wife?
She just said that it could have been better because Ann Romney promised to tell us something about her husband that we didnt already know, something about their struggles
Megan Kelly quickly nailed her on that one.
For those with ears the imagery of a door as a desk, and an ironing board as a table certainly didn’t convey luxury.
She raised women to the level we deserve- not reduce us to some dependent Julia whose priority in life is government paid birth control pills.
Well stated
Peggy Noonan just always has to have something negative to say about Republicans. When I re-think about what Noonan said, (something I don’t like to do), what she was saying was the same thing that Juan Williams said, that Ann was lovely and courageous, but just another corporate wife.
Replacing Juan with Peggy Noonan was not much of a switch.
Given the opportunity Juan would crawl back to NPR and lick the master’s boot. Just like he will crawl to the polls to vote for Obama in Nov.
