Prayer request for my first ex-wife. Last I heard, they were trying to set up surgery to remove her appendix. She is in hospital.
Yeah, I know, ex... but she is the mother of my children and my grandbabies grandmother. The old gal could use some prayers.

Yeah, me too. But she does show up for all the family funerals (only time I see her), and the grandkids like her, and prayer does work.
Besides, she's just the first ex. My exes have subscripts to indicate their order.

My husband had emergency surgery to remove his appendix the first week of August. Landed him in the hospital for 4 days, during which he was getting 3 different kinds of antibiotics pumped into him. I told him, "You know, for this being your first surgery in your lifetime at age 35, you don't half-ass it do ya?"
You're a good soul for praying for her. After what we went through, I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. I'll certainly offer up my prayers to your ex that she recovers fully and quickly.

Kid says they are going to use laparoscopic technique on her, instead of the 'gut you like a fish' thing they did to me back when I got hurt.
She may come out of this fairly well, considering her general health, which is marginal.
