This is why we can’t have nice things. We can’t have the types of debates about policies and legislation that could lead to reconciliation because right wing crazies inevitably exaggerate the conversation.
To them, President Obama’s reelection doesn’t have anything to do with a sensible debate on the issues, but everything to do with demons and wacked out interpretations of the Bible. So it’s certainly no surprise that bad actor Chuck Norris, who has been a member of the tin foil contingency for years now, “went there” in a video slamming President Obama.
This weekend, Chuck Norris and his wife released a video opposing Obama’s reelection, and warned of “one thousand years of darkness” if President Obama is reelected. Norris begins his Last Days diatribe by saying that America is “under attack” and goes on to say it could be “lost forever” if the country does not change course soon.
“You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this last best hope for man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness” said Norris.
Funny how electing a man who happily tithes to the racist Church of Mormon, but pays minimal U.S. taxes, is somehow viewed as a better option than Obama by Norris. And Norris, as usual, refuses to provide any specifics as to what President Obama has actually done to cause him to be viewed as some sort of bringer of darkness by Norris. One can only guess that being dark in skin color is more than enough for Norris to make such an outlandish claim. What’s awful is that smears like these are nothing new for Republicans. Every morning, we all wake to a few new slurs against President Obama. It’s old hat by now.

Apparently the comments following the Norris video are not from their “readers” then because I saw not a glimmer of education coming from any of them!
