President Obama is speaking at George Mason University today (traffic is insane!). He has a long awaited jobs one-liner: the U3 unemployment rate fell to 7.8%.
He probably won’t mention that U6 unemployment, the more indicative measure of true unemployment, remained at 14.7%. This is due to a large increase in the number of workers working part time for economic reasons.
Change in nonfarm payrolls rose by 114,000. Hardly comforting given the 12,088,000 unemployed.
And remember that the survey of households uncovered an additional 800,000 jobs this month, 187,000 of which government workers. [This reminds me of the miraculous appearance of boxes of ballots during a close election].

The number of non-institutional population going on disability has increased dramatically, as has the number of households on the SNAP (food stamp) program.

Life expectancy up 29% under Obama

In a startling development, the Federal Health and Human Services Department announced this morning that the average life expectancy of Americans has jumped to 98, a 29% increase since 1983.
HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, in an unscheduled news conference this morning, addressed a crowd of reporters and health professionals.
“We are proud to announce that as a result of President Obama’s and First Lady Michelle’s efforts over the past four years, the average life expectancy has risen 29%, to the age of 98. Programs to ban large soft drinks, force school children to eat arugala, close-down Chick-fil-A restaurants, and add a new healthcare premium for people who are overweight have paid off.”
Questions from reporters about this figure being possible because young people who are out of work are no longer being counted in the population were not answered.
“We are embarking upon a promising new future,” said Sebelius. “We expect the average age of Americans to rise to 120 with the expected reelection of President Obama.”

Praise to Lord Obozo, who walks on water, heals the sick, stops unemployment, protects our ambassadors and has made our economy the strongest in the world.
According to Fox , a high percentage of jobs added were in the govt sector. Things that make you go hmmmmm or something rotten in Denmark?
It’s the same thing they did with Obamacare...waited until they passed the legislation to read it. In this case, they waited to gin up an excuse until after they decided what the newly improved Obama supporting numbers would be.
All I can say is that if Obama and his administration try to hang their hat on their cooked 7.8% as being a good thing, then they have no sense of what America should be.
Instead, payrolls go up only 114,000 and unemployment rate plummets from 8.1% to 7.8%.
I hope people are ready to watch Obama steal the election. Through early voting and absentee ballots, he will get 51% of the votes, with a fair margin in the electoral college. All fake, of course, but he will do it and he will count on the country not having a hot revolution. It will be blatant, just like this labor statistic BS.

Anyone with any intelligence and sense can see what’s going on and this includes Independents. This race has not been ‘undecided’ for a while. The people that will tout this are in it only to try and convince the mythical undecideds to vote Obama, and the rest just parrot this as a good thing when confronted with the truth and logic to keep from looking stupid.
Independents already know who they’ll vote for; they’re either being coy or playing undecided because they like to be pandered to.
The only other reason is to try and demoralize republicans from voting, and I’ll be damned if this makes one iota of difference in my determination to vote against that stain on the Office of the President.
Romney already released a good statement today. He just needs to be on fire today at all his events to get even news coverage with this.
In July, 181,000 jobs were added: 8.3% unemployment
In August, 142,000 jobs were added: 8.1% unemployment
September, 114,000 jobs were added: 7.8% unemployment.
Yeah, right! Anything to get re-elected!

The claims by the OboZo and his Chicago thugs before the election will make this satire look minor.
