A former CIA operative and spy in Iran’s Revolutionary Guard is reporting that a deal has been struck between Barack Obama and Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. According to Reza Kahlili, “Iran could announce a temporary halt to uranium enrichment before next month’s U.S. election in a move to save Barack Obama’s presidency.” (1)

Kahlili’s source for this story reports that a 3 member team of negotiators representing President Obama met this week with a Khamenei representative in Qatar. They asked that the Iranian leader “…announce a halt to enrichment, even if temporary, before the Nov. 6 election.” In return, Obama promised to suspend some of the sanctions which have effectively crippled the Iranian economy. This would not be the first time Obama has been willing to sell out the interests of the American people to...

I have seen the rumors of this in the middle eastern press for a couple of weeks. They would not be surprised nor would I if Zero sells out the country and Israel to change the debate.

Obama could spin it as evidence of his diplomatic skill as a peacemaker, but it would still stink of being a set-up.

If they do this, I would not be surprised if it is timed just before the last debate which will be exclusively on foreign policy to provide Obama with another talking point along with his I killed Osama braggadocio.

You couldn’t actually verify that Iran stopped. Impossible.
Anyone who believed that they did would be to much of an idiot to go on living. This is same scam that has been run by Iran and others over and over again. Stall, and buy time.

This is treason, and the constitutionally mandated penalty for treason is death by hanging.

... and it would demonstrate clearly who the enemy wants as the commander-in-chief of the U.S. armed forces and to determine the extent to which America will support Israel.

Didn't the American leftists falsely claim that President Ronald Reagan made a deal with Iran to forestall the release of the hostages until after the 1980 election as if - if he did it - that Reagan involved himself in a treasonous act?

With menace in his voice Chairman Obama told America on TV "We cannot turn back now..."

Oh brother! I just hope we make it to November 6th.

No, the betrayals will come as November surprises.

“Iran could announce a temporary halt to uranium enrichment . . .

Yeah, that'll work. That would be the umpteenth temporary halt that Iran has announced while continuing to work.

There is no WAY any deal with Iran could possibly move the needle.

Internally, Iran is almost on the point of economic collapse. They suffer from a rampant inflation, much of the foreign exchange they hold is tied up in bank accounts in distant lands that have put a freeze on transfer of funds, the population is much more restless than most outsiders realize, and in foreign adventures, they are trying to influence the outcome in Syria, which is almost at opposite the position the US seems to want to influence.

The only deal that would attract Iran at ALL, would be a huge transfer or release of cash to them, and that would totally negate all the “sanctions” that have been placed upon them.

For the Current Occupant to even think he could conclude even a preliminary agreement with the Islamic Republic of Iran, would be stupid, crazy, or both.

But these are desperate times, so do not discount the possibility.

Time grows short and the water is rising.

Oh Goodie! I can't wait to see Hillary walk down the steps from the airliner, waving a document signed by Ahm-a-nutjob, shouting "Peace in our time!"

“Iran could announce a temporary halt to uranium enrichment before next month’s U.S. election in a move to save Barack Obama’s presidency.”

And after the election, it's back to business as usual (spin up those 10,000 centrifuges!).

Trust me, the check is in the mail...

I have always thought Obama would make a dramatic trip to Tehran and return waving some bogus agreement with Imanutjob and declare peace in our time. It worked so well with Hitler and Neville Chamberlain.
