Never mind the debates, said those very knowledgeable members of the mainstream media, as they will have no appreciable effect on the election. Whistling past the graveyard has always been a popular pastime among journalists, especially when they have the distinct feeling that their candidate might not be up to a very important, very public challenge.

Well it has now been a week and a day since the Barack debacle in Denver and polls have not only swung to Romney’s favor, they have done so in a startling, even unprecedented way.

Here are the numbers:

The Rasmussen Swing State Poll involves 11 states...

Yep. Barring a Romney stroke or heart attack, Romney wins.

Look at the individual states in this map. It shows how they voted the last three cycles. Assuming all those that broke with R tradition to elect the Magic Negro will revert back, Romney already has this sewn up. And that doesn’t include the others that are also in play.

It will probably be a rout.

I still think Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day was a good sign of what’s coming Obama’s way November 6th.

As one guy put it a couple of days ago, and I paraphrase: All those lines we saw outside Chick-Fil-A will be there at the polling places in November.

Romney is going to win this BIG.

NO NO NO

Play like you are behing 10 in the 4th.

It is NOT over and won’t be until 11-7.

Don’t fall for complacency.

It is not over until it is over. A lot can happen between now and election day. Does the Obama hit machine have something else to drop before election day?

I suspect they do, or they would be in a greater panic. However, with the effectiveness of their other "bombshells," it likely will matter little.

Agreed. The electorate is fickle.

My concern is that in one of the next two outings, BO would present a good debate performance combined with Mitt having an off day...

“Does the Obama hit machine have something else to drop before election day?”

I expect either of the following scenerios, or something approximately equivalent . . .

1. There will be a contrived ‘disaster’ and the Evil POS in the White Hut will declare martial law and declare the elections ‘postponed’, maybe by declaring a 24/7 ‘curfew’ to prevent voting. . . or . . .

2. The election will go on, he will lose big, and he will declare martial law and declare the election results null and void . . . How? Well, it might get very interesting.

In either case, his goose will be cooked and We The People stand to win BIG.
