Too Little Too Late
Apparently, no one at the CIA signed off on saving the lives of our diplomats in Benghazi. Now, that leaves just one other guy and he has a major problem with the truth. President Obama had no problem claiming responsibility for launching the attack to kill Bin Ladin from a golf course, but owning up to the truth about the death of four Americans in Benghazi is another matter entirely.
General Petraeus, Director of the CIA, has stated categorically that neither he nor anyone else at the CIA denied the requests for help from our former SEALs who were fighting to save the lives of over thirty Americans at the consulate in Benghazi. From an official spokesman of the CIA:
"No one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need; claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate. ”
Too Little Too Late
Unfortunately, General Petraeus, by maintaining his silence, has participated in the presidential coverup of the Benghazi assault for six weeks. It is unfortunate for Petraeus to end his career with this tragedy, but when you participate in a coverup, you are as guilty as the perpetrator: it is time for Petraeus to resign. An officer who compromises his honor, in the guise of political loyalties will be considered to be without honor, if he decides not to resign.

If David Petraeus were a man and an American,
he would resign and testify as to what he knew about Benghazi.He would then be a Real Hero and not be a Quisling

The attack that killed four Americans in the Libyan consulate began as a spontaneous protest against the film “The Innocence of Muslims,” but Islamic militants who may have links to Al Qaeda used the opportunity to launch an attack, CIA Director David Petreaus told the House Intelligence Committee today according to one lawmaker who attended a closed-door briefing.
Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger, the top Democrat on the House Intel committee, said Petraeus laid out “a chronological order exactly what we felt happened, how it happened, and where we’re going in the future.”
“In the Benghazi area, in the beginning we feel that it was spontaneous – the protest- because it went on for two or three hours, which is very relevant because if it was something that was planned, then they could have come and attacked right away,” Ruppersberger, D-Md., said following the hour-long briefing by Petraeus. “At this point it looks as if there was a spontaneous situation that occurred and that as a result of that, the extreme groups that were probably connected to al Qaeda took advantage of that situation and then the attack started.”
Couldn’t be more on target. Impeachment’s too noble an end for this American imposter. Tar & feathering had its advantages; not only was it painful and incredibly inconvenient, it was the mark of disgrace & revulsion.

Exactly. What I’d like to know is what was so important that prevented Petraeus from following this from the beginning, especially since the main communicators from Benghazi were his assets. That’s assuming, of course, that he’s not the liar he’s proving to be. The truth will set you free, David. DO IT. It’s better than living a lie and dying with a question mark on your tombstone.

The senior combatant commander for Libya is General Carter Ham, the Commander of US Africa Command in Stuttgart, Germany. AFRICOM's headquarters was monitoring the events in Benghazi in real time, and simultaneously mobilizing a range of rescue options in accordance with established contingency plans. The forfeit option when a diplomatic mission is being overrun is Go. The wheels were in motion - until somebody stopped them.
There are only two men senior to the combatant commander - the Secretary of Defense and the President himself. Only two men could have ordered General Ham to stand down his forces on September 11; it was either Leon Panetta or Barack Hussein Obama. Mmm. Mmm. Mmm.
