Right...and abortion too...it’s the law of the land so let’s keep slaughtering babies on street corners across the land.

It’s OK, little babies can’t vote or donate to campaigns.

SCUM GOP.

All spending bills originate in the House. The Peoples’ house. The House controls the purse strings. That is their power. That gives the House leader even more power than the President.

The President may control the military, but the House can unilaterally shut off their funding. They do not need an act by the Senate to squelch spending. They simply refuse to hold a vote for a continuing resolution.

It takes guts and the ability to present your thoughts in a clear manner to the American people. These are two things that Boehner has proved he doesn't have.

People have to experience the true effects of Socialism to see how bad it is..the ones who love Socialism love spending OTHER people’s money, til there is no more money to be spent..then there is anarchy..I saw on TV many elderly people in Florida “praying” for Obama..let them feel the first effects of Obamacare..let them have to wait 5 months for a hip replacement, or be refused to get one altogether..let them suffer what happens when they want “Free” health care

Boehner is 1 million% correct there is absolutely nothing he can do about it

Things he can do:

1. Have daily press conferences where ordinary citizens, who have already been laid off due to Obamacare, tell there stories. Whether it's exploitative or not....I don't care. These are real people with real big problems.

2. Get off the golf course. Obama deservedly took alot of heat for his golfing...but you don't get a single digit handicap in golf, like Boehner has, without spending time on the links. He needs to stop playing at the country club and start mixing/working with the people in this country who are suffering due to Obama's policies.

Quite frankly, the guy has no fight in him and he needs to step aside as House Speaker and let someone else do it.

Because it’s UNCONSTITUTIONAL...and it’s the RIGHT THING TO DO.

"They can shut down ALL OF GOVERNMENT anytime by Refusing to Bring Anything to the Floor, the House Has ALL the POWER but none of the balls."

Ask Newt how well that worked out.

They've already got the graphics and and artwork ready at all the Networks. "Republicans deny poor people food and medicine."

Network trucks would rush to Old Folks homes to show a starving geezer who wasn't getting his sustenance because Medicare was shutdown.

There is an old saying "Never start a battle you know you can't win."

Bohener isn't that dumb.

There are still many Republicans in the House who will not want to fund it. Conservatives still have some power, some.

Speaker Boeher was done the day he was elected Speaker of he House. And by him we were done in. The GOP is too darn stupid {& Liberal} too even replace him as Speaker. It’s amazing Speaker Boeher speaks and Nancy’s lips never move.

It is not just about forcing everyone to buy health insurance. Forcing someone to buy something is anathema to this Country. The Obamacare travesty allows the federal government to take control of our health. Some non-doctors will decide who gets what treatment.

And if you think everyone should pay for insurance, then why are you not pushing for illegal aliens to also pay for insurance?

The Bill was not upheld by SCOTUS. The fees were OKed by SCOTUS because they called them a Tax. That is all.
Please read the decision.

How did it work out?

By all means ask the Speaker. He will tell you that after they shut down the government, they got the concessions that they wanted and then went on to lose just 2 seats in 1996 when Clinton was reelected and only 5 seats in 1998.

All revenue bills start in the House. If the House does not fund Obamacare, it does not get funded.

That along with some other things is what is going to have to happen to change the current status quo. We are now kinda like a drunk who has to hit rock bloody bottom before the AA thing kicks in. Not in 1 year maybe 2. Could be 4 or 6 the last numbers make it interesting.

This is going to be so much fun. $700 from a person who earns maybe 10K a year? Do you know how many people in FL fall into that catagory? We had amendment 1, to keep that from happening. They voted it down. They actually voted it down.

Do you know the screaming that is going to happen when this takes effect, and the honest astonishment people are going to have?

If I could have a nickel for every person that starts crying, “But I thought only Rich people had to pay this, where is my free healthcare?”, I would never have to work again.

This is extra disgusting.

I’m VERY upset over this election EXACTLY because of CommieCare - my view is even with 100% gung-ho Repubs Congress, it’s pretty much it. The largesse by the time Repubs could take over again would be too much for the average politico and they’d just let it go because “wouldn’t it be sad to take all those people out of their new jobs?”

Blackmail does that. Boehner is a compromised. They have got something on him, and he puts himself above the good of the country. He “behaves” as he should, and the rumors disappear.

Y’all remember this stuff?

“Forcing someone to buy something is anathema to this Country.”

No it’s not. Look how they’ve forced us sheep to buy child “safety” seats - every few years because they “expire”. Buying child bike helmets is the norm now, too - law.

We have become pathetic wimps only worried about “safety”, the very thing Franklin warned against.

2013 is gonna be interesting when more
companies like olive garden make all full time employees , part time.
It’s a train wreck and the government will be giving more companies waivers.
