The news media are continuing to try to protect the Obama administration from a rapidly growing scandal. A November 13th article in The Washington Post by Scott Wilson argued that Obama “has been untouched by the unfolding investigation involving former CIA director David Petraeus,” a view that belongs on the opinion page under the heading, “wishful thinking,” not on the news pages.

It’s Bush’s fault!
The lurid stories about Petraeus’ sex life is being hyped by the WH and media lapdogs to distract us from the Obama blatant voter fraud- and its working.
There is no scandal. Crowley/Tapper has replaced Woodward/Bernstein.
Another crisis will materialize and it will all be forgotten.
Now what’s going on is Obama & the media are threatening investigations of Petraeus to dirty him up more to make him the fall guy for Benghazi in order to cover for Obama.
1. Obama’s failure to protect the Benghazi outposts and the ambassador before 9/11/12
2. Obama’s failure to issue cross-border authorization during the 9/11/12 attacks
3. Obama’s cover-ups, misdirection and appearance of blackmailing Petraeus after the attack to corruptly protect himself the election
Sex scandals have traditionally been viewed as character flaws exposing high government officials to foreign intelligence “honey pot” operations.
For the first time in US history we have a high government official that has been made vulnerable to blackmail by the US President and his political campaign operatives embedded in the White House! That is the REAL scandal.
If Obama molested his daughter on the Letterman show, the NYT would run a puff piece marveling at how even as busy as the POTUS is, he can still fit in quality time with his kids,

Nothing touches Obama, nor will it ever. The “media” have constructed a shield that is impenetrable. Attempts to penetrate it are met with charges of racism... charges that prove very effective. Obama will forevermore be regarded as blameless in all things. From the economy to Benghazi, he has evaded responsibility that would`ve been heaped in spades onto a Republican president. Case in point is the “fiscal cliff,” for which 53% of Americans have said they will blame the GOP for any negative outcome (Rasmussen). So, regardless of Obama`s actions and attempts to derail the whole process, Repubs get the blame. Must be good to be King.
