#FireBoehner Gathering Steam...
Reaganite Republican ^ | 07 December 2012 | Reaganite Republican

Posted on 12/07/2012 2:48:07 AM PST by Reaganite Republican

For more than a few of us, the removal of principled conservatives from influential committee assignments this week was the first shot of a new war we all knew was coming following Mittens' anticlimactic defeat: in the now-unfolding battle for control of the Republican Party, we have TEA Party patriots vs. the ossified -yet at the same time squishy- GOP/RNC old-guard... victory here would do the Reaganite/TP wing more good than any third-party attempt ever will.

I myself have given Boehner the benefit-of-the-doubt way too many times, and have now concluded this sinister, unprincipled RINO crybaby has got to go: the beauty part is that we just need sixteen Republican votes against him as speaker and *poof* it's time for the Sunkist Kid to hit the showers.

Only a principled, fiscal-conservative WARRIOR in that chair -gimme  Paul Ryan- can salvage this country in the face of a 'progressive' full-court press for four LONG years, and John Boehner simply doesn't have the brains, balls, or personality to pull it off- sorry, dude.

We need somebody to put the Bolshevik Boy Wonder back-on-his-heels, SO sick of our side being humiliated by this pompous nothing...

This is WAR, so think PATTON- not the fake-baked Mr Bean we've got now:

Hey let’s not forget Eric Cantor - he’s right in the middle of the effort to purge tea party congressmen from committee posts.

I emailed my Representative to withhold his vote. Hopefully there is still some sanity left in the House. Bottom line is obama understands only power, and there are certain issues on which our Representatives should NEVER compromise. Taxes is one of them.

Get rid of the Weeper of the House. Replace him with Newt Gingrich (the SOTH does not have to be a current member of Congress).

Sorry folks but I read the list of names of people who sit on the committee that did this purge and Paul Ryan is one of those people.
I am beginning to wonder if true conservatives have anyone at all on our side in Washington.

“The TEA Party conservatives GAVE Boner the gavel and as they say, you don’t crap where you eat.”

Which brings to mind our one remaining Jackass/Donkey, the symbol of, the mascot of the Democrat Party.

Old Harry craps, and pee’s in his food, and of course won’t eat until I clean it all up, remove it, and give him fresh food.

Ain’t that a typical Democrat!?

Boehner could do much worse than listen to the Tea Party.

If nothing else, all he has to do is look at the record of what the Tea Party wanted as opposed to what the establishment GOP actually did....

Having followed the voice of TRUE Conservatives would certainly have put the establishment Republicans in a better spot than they find themselves NOW.

The record of what the GOP did INSTEAD is pretty obviously a failure!

I have been thinking (which is hard for me),having read many times that Obama is not our greatest threat. Our greatest threat is the electorate who placed him where he is.

On that line let us ponder for a moment how Noehner got his job.The Republican Representatives put him there. Are they not as guilty as he is? Are we not represented in the House by Republicans every bit as bad as Boehner?

Nobody detests Nancy Pelosi any more than I, but she is a strong leader and isn’t afraid to make her Socialist views known.

We need a strong leader, A Speaker who speaks, and isn’t cowed by the WH. A Conservative not afraid to take on the President or the Media. We don’t have that in Boehner, but is there anyone in the Republican House that will be strong for Conservatives, and will the rest of the Republicans back him/her?

I like Gingrich for his outspokeness,I know of no other Republican with his expertise as Speaker, even if he does have a zipper problem.

That's right. I phoned my representative Kevin Brady to complain about his support for Boehner. I said I pulled the R-all lever in 2012, but will not be doing that in 2014. I will vote Libertarian, or not vote for anyone if he is the only candidate running against a Democrat. I have had it with Republican RINO protectionism.

Very true, but Boner appears to have lost sight of that fact. I despair that the 2010 TEA Party class has already been corrupted/co-opted during their less than 2-years in the DC cesspool.

We’ll see.

Exactly. The entire failed GOP leadership must go.
Including Cantor, McCarthy and McConnell.

I agree with you, but Gingerich is no longer a memeber of the House, unfortunately.

Takes just 16 Republicans refusing to support Boehner and he can’t win the Speaker’s chair... the two conservatives he booted off their committees make it just 14 needed lol

He he must be replaced. I am tired of being embarrassed by this crying, smoking, drinker. He has no spine to stand and do what must be done! He is not capable in the speaker position!

Thats a big 10-4. Cantor and McCarthy are just Boehner mini-me’s. If the conservatives purge Tammy Faye they need to make sure to replace him with somebody at least semi conservative like Jeb Hensarling or Paul Ryan. Actually Paul Ryan would be a good negotiator. He stays calm and he can stick to a position. Whoever they pick will have to get 218 votes. Almost anybody is better than Boehner.
