American gun owners comprise the largest armed force on the planet. We dwarf the American military, which comprises roughly 1.5 million active duty personnel.

Like I mentioned in another post ... while the liberals were teaching their kids to protest the military we were teaching ours to serve. Something to think about.

You are overestimating the enemy and those that would bring about this unconstitutional loss of rights.

It would be “4th generation warfare” not a battle of numbers and better weapons. First rule of warfare identify your enemy....why take on an army when a dirty dozen is all that is necessary? No organization or communication required just several (or many) like minded individuals acting alone would be difficult to find and catch with no ties or connection to each other. How many are waiting for the first spark? How many recently trained snipers and IED veterans from the middle east are returning to this changed country and don't like what they see? The a$$ clowns inside the beltway are showing their utter ignorance and Utopian unrealistic idealistic “feelings” which will get trounced by reality.

An organized march on DC might give them a clue. Let the grabbers stand up to real American Patriots (wear american revolution costumes or camouflage) in person and tell them they want to take their guns. I'll be the old guy selling the Depends to the grabbers and other clueless liberal pu$$ies.

Maybe, but all I hear from my son is how much they (him and those in his unit) hate Obama. Not a very scientific study, but gives moment for pause. In any case they are not taking Georgia guns anytime soon.

Unless the commies slip up and move too fast they are going to get a lot of their goal by incrementalism. It’s worked for 40 years and it is still working.

One major weakness of the eliminationist monsters inhabiting the White House is that they're impatient. They can almost taste the absolute power - the power to kill without consequence - that they are about to achieve.

Another major weakness is their blindness - fatal blindness to, and complete lack of comprehension of the core values that animate many of us: faith, family and freedom. These are things worth fighting for. They are also things worth dying for if it comes to that. Those who presume to rule us are godless monsters who care for nothing but the raw, naked exercise of power. The power to kill without consequence.

how many people just surrendered when the police unilaterally declared confiscation? no law. no court order. they just took. how many? It was just the law abiding that disarmed willingly.

Unfortunate, but true. If you review the history of citizen disarmament by governments in the twentieth century, you'll find that more people died as a result of that, than any other single cause.

People need to think about that before willingly surrendering their weapons to their local cops or any other government agents.

Don't forget that the left has undone a lot of excellent upbringing by indoctrinating our kids in the public schools. It happened to me, but thank God my parents' brand of home training was stronger. I had something to fall back on later in life that a lot of kids don't.

The left cares not one whit about the children of this world. If they had their way these children would have been dead six or seven years ago in the womb. (or out, depending on which gruesome method they chose). They’re not above making money off these tragedies either. Bob Geldoff comes to mind with the song “I Don’t Like Mondays” which glorified a school shooting incident. The left makes me more ill with each passing day

The interesting thing about all this posturing from the "Gun Grabbers" is...

When will we call it what it really is... TREASON & SEDITION, to call for the banning of any weapons, it to attempt to negate the Constitution.

Not being a Constitutional Scholar, but have a healthy respect for history.

It sure sounds like treason to me.
