at the New York Times, anyway...

Uh, I'm pretty sure this is the same
John Boehner they're talking about:

LAZY

COWARDLY

Funny that. Of course a bunch of the same names on FR who trashed her are the same ones now excusing the GOP and trashing other conservatives. Not all...but a bunch.

Funny that too. One could almost see a pattern there.

Yes, there's definitely a pattern. The Romneyites ran roughshod here all last year and have since largely left the field after the massacre. It's Jeb Bush's turn in the loyal opposition loser que. This is what the latest run up in loyal republicanism is all about. Besides, the Bush royal family thread needs an image makeover of new Jeb family photos. Gotta keep those Bush FReaks satisfied.

Looks like your only option at this point is to turn me in to your zampolit for re-education. Because you aren't going to win my vote, or approval, for your liberals, like Bohner.

What restrictions would you place on abortion? Would you support leaving abortion to the states?

Name one politician who has supported an unconstitional law at one time or another?

Do you think people should be allowed to forgo background checks, own fully automatic weapons, tanks, etc.?

I'm assuming you are referring to Mitt Romney. Are you saying that all politicians you have ever supported have been pure by your standards?

“I do not normally support any of those”

So you have a price. What part of conservative philosophy defines a price on principles?

STILL....Eagerly waiting for your answer. Gonna answer it or make up a bunch more questions for others to hide the fact you didn’t?

I think a bunch of readers would like to know.

You have a hard time staying on point and following reason, but I will bite again.

Speaking of the creation of the US: would you have sat down with the British and compromised on Life or Liberty or the Pursuit Of Happiness?

To your question: All bets are off when an enemy is at the door that is determined to kill you. Bohner is safe and snug as a socialist slug. He didn't compromise on his beliefs, but on conservatives.

No-one is buying what you are selling. Or what other GOP-E defenders here are selling.

The GOP is losing support all over the place, and you are going to have to deal with that.

I don't have to answer your questions. I don't have to vote for your guys. I can make fun of your liberals.

And you can't do a thing about it.

You and people like you are the reason the conservative base is walking away.

Own it.

I will answer this one, because it's near and dear to my heart.

Yes. We should go back to pre-1930 laws on firearms. Constitutional laws.

You do realize that the founders BORROWED privately owned cannon and armed ships from citizens during the Revolutionary war? Private citizens were better armed than the government until 1934.

You are a liar. I am a conservative and a Republican just as are most conservatives, and it is you purists always first to form the circular firing squad not the rest of us.

Where is your evidence that conservatives are abandoning the GOP? Mitt Romney had more votes than John McCain.

Prove it. Don’t just go Pavlov on me...PROVE IT. You claim to be a conservative. Prove it by your politics.

Compromise of core values is not conservative. That’s just a fact.

So are you ever gonna answer the question?

That’s right and is exactly what I am saying. The Democrats are at the door and we have to make certain compromises today just like the Founders did at the beginning. It’s not ideal but it is necessary. Demanding that abortion be abolished today is like demanding slavery be abolished back then.

I asked a question about Boehner not a question about Conservatives in the House.

Boehner may be a good man but he's not a good Conservative or a good majority leader.

Yes or no. Do you believe we should compromise on abortion?

Hide and watch. The GOP is going to lose more and more. You can't do anything about that as long as you lean left.

You aren't a conservative. You are a liberal that votes GOP. Because that's who the GOP appeals to these days.

Own it, kid. Crying and kicking and attacking 'purists' isn't going to gain you any votes.

I'll continue to actively campaign door-to-door against liberal GOP candidates. Like Dewhurst.

And do your consider anyone who doesn't agree with you regarding the Second Amendment to be an enemy of the Second Amendment?

Yes, I understand about the lack of restrictions on self defense then as opposed to today, but realize most people support such restrictions in the present. Do you think private citizens should be allowed to own NBCR weapons and ICBMs?

The GOP is holding the door open for them.

You cannot stay on point. Holy cow.

The GOP wanted a lib. We told them no. They used dem tactics to ram one through. We voted elsewhere. Their liberal lost.

I am not sure what more proof she needs.

That and the dozens I see right here already that cut up their cards. I doubt it was a FR only phenomenon.

Do you know that ICBMs are privately owned while they are built and tested until the government buys them and pays for them? Lockheed isn't a government agency.

Sure, I think private ownership of ICBMs should continue.

I do not hide. EVER! Unlike you, I work tirelessly within the GOP and conservative movement in support of the most electable conservative possible. You purists do nothing but snipe at those of us who are doing the best we can with what we have. Taking your toys and going third party won’t get you votes. You will be lost in the wilderness indefinitely. BTW, I supported Cruz over Dewhurst.
