Deadly Quiet Conversations
T L in Exile Blog ^ | 01/14/2013 | T.L. Davis

Posted on 01/14/2013 7:11:03 PM PST by Noumenon

There are conversations taking place all over America. They are not being screamed from the mountain tops, they are being whispered from one end of the nation to the other.

The Marxists have decided that Sandy Hook Elementary is a good enough reason to go ahead with the gun confiscation model used by totalitarian governments the world over. Senators, Governors, Representatives and the President have all come out to warn us that they are coming. How they come and how hard are the only questions left to be answered. We know who is proposing gun confiscation, or registration in preparation for confiscation. They are not shy about it with the media behind them, encouraging their treasonous acts.

What they don't hear is a hue and a cry about it from the average citizen. This is largely their reason for their bold announcements. But in the corners of the nation men are preparing their wives and families for the day they don't come home. Brothers are making plans to resist on familiar ground. Cops are talking to neighbors and each other. Servicemen and women are talking amongst themselves in lowered tones. Sheriffs and their deputies are talking, making plans and calculations as to when to draw that hard line.

It is the quiet before the storm, because DHS is talking too. They are tyring to figure out who is with them and who is against them in the big scheme of things. The government is talking to gun manufacturers and the banks that hold their notes. Bank Of America froze the account of a gun-maker for ideological reasons. Wal Mart will no longer replenish their ammo once it has been depleted.

The ramifications are sure to be swift. Like the Journal News that published the names and addresses of gun owners. Then, a thief broke into one of the homes looking for weapons having used the map provided by the paper as a treasure map. Aiding and abetting a crime is criminal and I don't know what else one would consider printing a map with addresses of where guns might be stolen other than complicity to commit criminal acts. It is no different than if they had printed the addresses of jewelry store customers.

Somewhere, amid all of these quiet conversations, things are being decided. In some places, among lifelong friends, it is more boistrous. But, we are a clouded people, now. There is a snitch behind every bush, peering at us with hidden cameras, listening into our conversations through illegal bugs and tuning into cell phone conversations. The hypocrite liberals are all into it. They are taking names and making journal notes as to what they have heard and by who, because privacy and the sanctity of the home is something they reserve for themselves.

So, why is it so quiet when Second Amendment issues are being discussed between so many people at the same time? Because anything one might say to another is a solid statement of intent. When one person tells another that the totalitarian thug that arrives at his door asking about his weapons will be met with lead poisoning, it could be considered a threat and facilitate that knock on the door. These are dangerous times when the government turns against its people.

Why does a bank who received $45 billion from the government freeze the account of a gun manufacturer?

This is how wars start. The government threatens to act unconstitutionally and the people prepare to resist. That resistance is seen as defying the government and the government sends out goons to test the mettle of the police forces to impress their cooperation. They put the squeeze on banks they lent money to to freeze accounts and disrupt businesses. More citizens see the actions of the government as unjust and oppressive and stockpile more goods. The government sees this as aggression and moves to clamp down even harder.

Somewhere along the line that bubble bursts and hell will be paid by all involved.

This is a fight the Obama Administration is convinced it can win with enough propaganda from the mainstream media. It is not for the faint-hearted, so again I implore the reader: If they make us raise our weapons to defend the Second Amendment, lets not lower them until the Constitution is restored and the treasonous have been dealt with.

Dear Mr. Security Agent

http://westernrifleshooters.wordpress.com/2013/01/07/bracken-dear-mr-security-agent/

So now we’re back to you, Mr. Security Agent, and your unique role in this high drama. Let me state this very clearly, both for you and for the liberal agenda-setting elites who might accidentally stumble upon this essay. Let there be no doubt about this. Let no one later say, “But we were just trying to improve public safety. We had no idea that all these disastrous unintended consequences would happen.”

I am telling you now that disastrous unintended consequences will happen if Congress passes new laws banning presently legal firearms. To make it very easy to remember, and in the spirit of our beloved Department of Homeland Security’s old color-coded security threat levels, let me spell out three lines of demarcation.

The Yellow Line:
The yellow warning line will be crossed with national gun registration laws, including laws forbidding private gun sales without government permission. When that law passes, millions of Americans will feel that they have been pushed directly to the edge of the abyss above the mass graves of history. Defenders of the Second Amendment know what happened in Turkey, the USSR, Germany, China, and other nations that fell under totalitarian rule: in every case a necessary preliminary step on the road to genocide was national gun registration, followed by confiscation. The Jewish survivors of the Nazi Holocaust say, “Never again!” And so do we.

The Red Line:
The red line will be crossed with the passage of laws mandating that currently owned weapons, ammunition magazines, and ammunition quantities above a certain number must be turned in to authorities or destroyed, and thereafter their simple possession will be a felony. At that point, the nation will be on a hair trigger, with a thousand flaring matches nearing a thousand primed cannon fuses aimed directly at the next Fort Sumter.

The Dead Line:
The next line requires a bit of history to explain. In some primitive Civil War POW camps, where lack of funding or logistical constraints did not allow the construction of proper fences, a knee-high continuous railing of wooden slats encircled the prison grounds. Guards with rifles were positioned at the corners and in crude towers. If a prisoner so much as stepped over the narrow plank, he was shot dead without warning, obviating the need for a real fence to contain him. Hence the term “dead line.” Cross the line and people die, right now.

And this is what liberal utopians must understand: after passing the yellow line with national gun registration and transfer requirements, and the red line by making possession of currently legal firearms felonious, the dead line will be breached with the first SWAT raids upon citizens suspected of owning legal firearms made illegal by the new gun control laws. People will die resisting confiscation, in large numbers.

Confiscation crosses the dead line, make no mistake about it.

So this essay is really for you, Mr. Security Agent, because it won’t be elite Manhattan or Malibu liberals or Ivy League professors or politicians or columnists who will be ordered to strap on the sweat-stained body armor and enforce the new gun control laws at gunpoint. No, that grim task will fall to you.

But as long as you are an honorable agent of the people while an employee of the government, and as long as you honor your oath to uphold and defend the Constitution, then you will encounter no problems at all with gun owners. Why? Because you will refuse to take part in gun confiscation raids. Period. End of sentence, end of paragraph.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is the leading American law enforcement agency, at least in terms of its long history and high prestige. Dear Mr. Security Agent, please consider that F.B.I. also stands for Fidelity, Bravery, and Integrity. Soon, your fidelity to your solemnly sworn oath may be severely tested. It will take a lot of bravery to make your personal integrity a higher calling than following illegitimate orders, simply to maintain your steady paycheck and benefits.

On the other hand, if you no longer resemble the upstanding and honorable federal agents I have known in the past, if that whole oath-to-the-Constitution shtick was a big fat joke to you and you would accept a transfer to the old Soviet KGB or East German Stasi for a ten percent pay raise…then we are definitely going to have a problem. So that oath you swore really matters, one way or the other, and so does your personal sense of honor.

Dear Mr. Security Agent, let me spell it out. If you find yourself in the sub-basement of an annex to a secret intelligence center on the far end of town, waterboarding citizens into revealing the locations of suspected “illegal caches” of firearms, ammunition or ammunition magazines that were legally owned in 2012, then know this one simple fact: tens of millions of Americans will most surely consider you a betrayer of your sworn oath and a traitor to your country.

And so, if you find yourself silently dismounting a covert SWAT vehicle at zero-dark-thirty, dressed all in body armor, counting down to the time-coordinated explosion of battering rams and flash-bang grenades, on a raid against a sleeping household intended to result in the confiscation of firearms, ammunition or ammunition magazines that were legal to own in 2012, millions of Americans who also swore an oath to defend the Constitution will consider you their domestic enemy, and they will resist you with force of arms. Just as the soldiers of King George were resisted on another notable gun confiscation raid on April 19, 1775. It used to be called “The Shot Heard ’Round the World.”

You may consider the sentiments expressed above to be absurd, hyperbolic, dangerous, ridiculous, or simply wrong-headed. But please understand that tens of millions of Americans feel this way to their cores, and they will not be disarmed without a fight. Well-meaning but naive liberals should understand the certain-to-follow consequences of new gun control laws intended to disarm their fellow citizens in the name of “public safety.” LEOs and FLEAs should understand the dire consequences of participating in gun confiscation raids, in direct violation of their sworn oaths to uphold the Constitution, including the Second Amendment.

The unintended consequences of this misguided utopian fool’s crusade to ban guns would include a second civil war as agonizingly painful as the first one, if not more so, since there would be no front lines and no safe areas for anybody, anywhere. Every sane American wants to prevent such a calamitous outcome as a “dirty civil war” on United States soil.

But know this: those tens of millions will never be quietly disarmed and then later forced at government gunpoint onto history’s next boxcars. If boxcars and detention camps are to be in America’s future, then you, Mr. Security Agent, will have to disarm them the hard way first. Not Piers Morgan, not Michael Moore, not Rosie O’Donnell, not Dianne Feinstein, not Chuck Schumer.

You.

I really, really do not want to do this

Stay well away from anyone who does.

I still believe this administration's primary aim is (a) distraction, from what we can well imagine, and/or (b) provocation, hoping those who do want "to do this" thing will fire first, to continue to divide and to divide again, to shrink their opposition. Always to shrink it.

I know where my own "line in the sand" is, as so many others also know. We'll soon see if this self-aggrandizing instructor of Constitutional law knows where the line is.

Should actual conflict begin in earnest, their goal will be to win. Too many on the other side have less formulated goals, such as "to make a statement," or even to die.

The thing that worries me, yes I am a member of the NRA, is that it seems no one has any guts to stand up and say this is enough....we have got to group together and unite and stand out ground on guns; education; taxes; spending; health care; social security for our retired citizens; military, and the list goes one. Obama is starting to take over the Constitution, and anything else he can get his hands on....come one peoples, lets start standing up and take this back!!!

That glow on the horizon is the color of blood. The Left thinks we're blowing smoke.

Isn't it odd that other dictators have assumed that Americans are too weak, soft, and mongrelized to defend themselves? Hitler, Stalin, Hirohito, Mao, all seem to have made that mistake. Libs aren't even that bright.

A conversion might discuss

Before they draw first blood:

Developing your human network

Do not use landline or cell phone, they can/will be turned off or monitored. Get a two-way radio. Develop your own “code talk”. Use non-electronic communication in your network tree.

Develop security protocols/procedures.

Develop a mutual aid system. Logistics are everything.

Identify choke points in/out of your area/town/county/city. Useful for defense and/or offense

Educate, educate, educate. Distribute “pocket Constitutions” or “citizen rule books”, etc. Truth has power.

If you have a relationship with your locals, educate them (municipal PD, sheriff).

When they draw first blood:

Disable their eyes - fixed cameras or drones. Disable their comms

They have already positioned equipment. Many municipalities have military vehicles and weapons. 30,000 drones are being deployed. Just about every street and intersection is under surveillance. Many 100’s of millions of rounds have been purchased for domestic use. They illegally retain records concerning “background checks” - they know who has what. They store and mine all internet activity. They have air superiority. Information superiority. Equipment superiority. We have numbers. We have right.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. If you have a relationship with your locals tread carefully.

Of course these conversations are hypothetical, yours will be different.

I don’t post very often but I’ve been comming here everyday for a lot of years.

NOTHING pisses me off more than those “I lost my guns in a boating accident” type of posts. I’m not sure why but those people/posts make my blood boil.

Ya, go bury your rifles in your yard, you can dig them up for the victory parade, hero.

(not meant at the specific poster in this thread - just in general)

There's an earlier thread today that notes that in the last couple of months more new firearms have been sold in America than would be needed to resupply the Chinese and Indian armies.

The cat, so to speak, is out of the bag ~ note: saw a sign today ~ 'free schroedinger's cat' ~ that one's out of the bag too.

>> the dead line will be breached with the first SWAT raids upon citizens suspected of owning legal firearms made illegal by the new gun control laws.

With all due respect — and of course I don’t know, I’m just guessing — I don’t think individual SWAT raids will be the spark that “sets the whole thing off”.

I don’t doubt that in some of these raids, gunowners or government agents or both will be killed. I just don’t think that (for instance) a raid on a particular house or farm will cause OTHER home- or farm-owners to go to GQ.

Here’s how I think it’ll unfold. One or more states (Wyoming is closest at this moment) will pass strong laws precluding enforcement of Federal gun laws. At some point, STATE law enforcement will step in — in a significant way — to stand behind state citizens resisting a Federal search-and-seizure effort.

Once it’s clearly State-VS-Federal, and uniformed blood is shed on both sides — that’s when she blows.

Just my 2c, and FRegards

it's a Scottish tradition to bury your weapons to prepare for the coming battle ~ that way the king's agents can't come around and grab them so easily.

BTW, there are never enough agents to stop the highlanders rising when the time is ripe.

Please note that the highlanders lost the last big one over there ~ and got shipped out to Virginia left and right. Many of the prison barges dropped anchor right down the way from me at Smuggler's Creek ~ right down the way from where Alexandria was eventually founded (for the second time ~ Indians wiped it out the first time).

Those guys had been transported naked and in chains. They were tossed overboard. By the time they got to North Carolina and its mountains they were armed with new swords and firearms, fully clothed, and with new deerskin boots!

That's why that custom persists ~ they didn't lose in America!

you get your green laser pointers at walmart. wrap 5 of them together and harness them so you only need to trigger one to light up all of them.

Although this is a pitiful weapon you can blind opponents at least temporarily. The federales will raid walmart first!

Provocation is their tactic.

Do not be provoked.

The provocations will grow increasingly outrageous.

Each provocation must be documented and publicized.

The abuses will grow increasingly outrageous.

Each abuse must be documented and publicized.

A decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that we declare the causes which impel us to restore the political bands which have been dissolved between the People and their Government as defined by the Constitution.

Had a convo, or two, as well.

Took my kids to the barber shop the other day (small, Southern town). We always talk politics and world events while the kids listen in. One of the barbers said he was cutting a local policeman’s hair and asked him, if directed, would he confiscate weapons.....he said, “Absolutely.” As you can imagine, we were all pretty dumbfounded. This is a VERY ‘red’ area (conservative).

Then, some months later, my convo with the Chief of Police (who I know fairly well), was quite surprising. Asked him where the best place would be to get firearms training. He said....”Well, you know, our town is a pretty safe place...” and I interrupted him and said, “Because lots of people around here own guns.” He was a bit flustered. I was concerned about his response. He is a devout Christian. Maybe he took it as the police not doing a good job.....which is not the case. They are pretty good. Left me scratching my head.

Nobody looks forward to it, but they don’t ignore it or fail to prepare for it either.

It is solemn contemplation.

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed
