Hmm… Shock Claim: Obama Only Wants Military Leaders Who ‘Will Fire on U.S. Citizens’
http://www.thegatewaypundit.com ^ | January 22, 2013 | Jim Hoft

Dr. Jim Garrow, the author of The Pink Pagoda: One Man’s Quest to End Gendercide in China, made the following claim .

...

I have just been informed by a former senior military leader that Obama is using a new “litmus test” in determining who will stay and who must go in his military leaders. Get ready to explode folks. “The new litmus test of leadership in the military is if they will fire on US citizens or not.” Those who will not are being removed.

So, who is the source?

Garrow replied: “The man who told me this is one of America’s foremost military heroes.”

If the government goes after conservatives, libertarians and gun owners, in an existential way, the government will be faced with asymmetrical warfare. Resistors will not simply cower in their homes waiting for the next SWAT raid, they will disperse and go on the offensive. Resistors will not target the highly protected, and high ranking politically connected chiefs, but instead, direct their energies against the thinly protected bureaucrats, low level pols, government workers and their families. Financial institutions, IRS, transportation, communication, water supply will be targeted. Encouraging instability in the cities, through arms sales or by engaging diversionary crimes, among poor minority populations will also be needed to tie down government forces.
The advantage for guerrilla forces is not having to defend targets, mobility and ability to blend in with the general population. In order to be effective at the onset, the resistor forces need to be small, dispersed and without a central organization.
This is how organizations such as the Mexican and Columbian narco traffickers have gained control of large segments of their respective countries.

You haven’t been around many black members of the armed forces, particularly the US Army. The number of black officers i met who were rapidly anti-israel and pro-Arab was disturbing. The number of black enlisted men who baldly stated that anything ‘their’ president ordered them to do they would be happy to do was shocking. Blacks in general in the US increasingly tout not being ‘Americans’ but privileged ‘others’. A lot of those who see themselves as ‘others’ wear the uniform of one service or another. They see white Americans as ‘whitey and the enemy’. This is part of the fruits of multiculturalism.

If they were FMJs for target practice, it wouldn’t be so unsettling as the huge percentage which were actually more expensive HPs. That smacks of ‘something bad coming’. You’re right.

I think you misunderstood my comment. I did not advocate anything. It was simply a compliment to eloquence. That’s all.

Not sure how you read all that into what I said.

Stanley McChrystal’s comments I sadly suspect reflect the consensus of flag officer. And then I recall my first post at FR regarding the attack on the Bonus Army camp in the Anacostia section of Washington DC lead by MacArthur, with Eisenhower and Patton participating without reservation even though they knew that Hoover had not authorized the action.

We’re way overburdened with admirals, generals, and ambitious colonels. Time to cull that herd, send them out to pasture. Maybe a goodwill trip to Russia aboard a skytrain of old Tupelovs?

“I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic…”

So begins the Oath of Enlistment for the U.S. military, but in an explosive interview with a National Guard whistleblower shown below, soldiers are now being advised they will be ordered to break that oath should civil unrest erupt across the country.

The Bonus Army didn’t come equipped with 10,000 Springfields and Enfields.

Just fill the case with powder, then hammer a bullet down, right?

Are there different kinds of gunpowder?

(Just kidding.)

Open your eyes, its been the citizens buying everything that will go bang. Likely half of what Gubmit has bought has already been sold on the black market.

From what we have seen of the Homeland Security (big buyer of ammo)they can’t hit their own butt with both hands, much less hold off a shite-load of PO’d citizens.

I am quite sure that is exactly what the Germans and Japs were thinking in 1940.

I'd bet that a survey of veterans here on FR would show that most of us did something they thought might be unsavory during their tours. Chain of command generally trumps objections and prior oaths.

On another note; I wouldn't count on lots of rational consideration or compassion from anyone facing me with a weapon in his or her hands and orders to make sure I behave myself.

The great consideration is that any potential confrontation will likely be between the common folks and either reservists or the NG, both of which are likely to be innured to combat while trying to remain sane while existing in-between those common folk and the standing military. In that instance you have to weigh "citizen soldier" against "guy with a weapon and orders from recognized authority".

Your opinions will not determine the other guy's actions.

"Google the 29 Palms Questionnaire."

Did that. One article links a thread on FR which has been deleted. Odd since FR maintains a huge database.
