Governor Pat Quinn (D) used his annual State of the State address to call for new rules on so-called assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. As outlined, under his proposal only those seeking permission for same-sex marriages would be authorized to own these types of firearm devices.
As Quinn explained it, those seeking same-sex marriage are among the most endangered members of our society. Their ability to propagate their own kind is hampered by unfair biological impediments. On top of this there is a well of anti-homosexual animosity among their fellow citizens that threatens their very survival. Since this gay minority is vastly outnumbered by a hateful straight majority their need for powerful weapons of self-defense should be self-evident.

Like someone said the day Blago resigned - the three scariest words in Illinois politics are: Governor. Pat. Quinn.
The man is a drooling idiot...
We need a law that requires:
- rfid global positioning chips placed in all law enforcement, dea, batf, dhs, fbi, and any other government emplyoyees allowed to carry firearms
- permanent logs monitored and retained of the whereabouts of those employees above
- government employees are to be held to a higher standard than civilians. As such, any evidence that may be found to reveal that there is a “blue shield” attempt to hide evidence of commission of a crime or falsification of evidence shall subject the government employees to twice the penalty that a civilian would have received
- Government employees shall be prohibihited from access to weapons not available for use by the civilian public
Who managed to get elected back to office, just like the drooling idiot in the WH.
It's just criminal how Crook County rules this state.
If we can limit the number of rounds in a firearm magazine, we can limit the number of pages in a Playboy magazine. The same specious utilitarian logic that applies to the first also applies to the second.
