Liberals Rush to Defend Murderer Christopher Dorner; "A True Patriot Hero"
Pundit Press ^ | 2/09/13 | Aurelius

The Main Stream Media has been deafeningly silent on madman Christopher Dorner's liberal leanings. Dorner supports gun control. Dorner loves President Obama. Dorner said of Piers Morgan, "I agree with you 100%."

...On Occupy Wall Street's website, a headline blares, "Christopher Jordan Dorner Is A True Patriot Hero: LAPD Getting Everything It Deserves." While the post notes, "This content is user submitted and not an official statement," the sentiments of the liberals on that site are laid bare by their statements.

User "quantumystic" explains:

User "anonymousblatant" tells his fellow liberals to read Dorner's rambling, murderous manifesto, explaining:

I'm as critical of police corruption and ineptitude as anyone but there's something weird about using this situation to attack the cops.

Too much like the other side.

All very good points, stories of inept policemen,so what are you saying all the LAPD is to blame. What is the alternative.Do you really believe we should do away with them and trust the nice criminals. When you find a bad cop prosecute him but don't label the whole department as bad.

Not only did this guy murder innocent people, his stealth caused the police to be on such a high tension alert they almost killed two innocent women. I blame him for those woman being shot at by the police. Having listened to some of the info about the man, it sounds like he is mentally ill, which is a big problem in our society.

Liberals defending an affirmative action murderer? What a surprise.

““Posted something” wasn’t tweet-sized, it’s a 20-page screed which it’s obvious he worked on for some time, while not clever enough to seem a deliberate misdirection. His leanings seem pretty clear: raging leftist with a huge racial chip on his shoulder.”

My point was that although someone worked on it for some time, we have no verification that it was him.

I blame him for those woman being shot at by the police.

There were more than 54 shots fired. Many hit surrounding houses. Five of them hit a doorway of one of the houses.

I'd want to know what LAPD big wig lives on that street? Must have been one of those named in the manifesto. If I lived on that street I'd have my family in a motel far away.

It would be easier to take the one bad apple approach if there was any hint of policing their own. The LAPDs response to both incidents has been to excuse the behavior. When the LEOs involved are fired and charged by the DA in the same manner that I would be, I’ll start considering it a one bad apple issue (or several bad apples). However, based on the facts, it appears to be an LAPD problem.

The underlying problem that Freepers have in these police stories is the lack of self policing. If you had done what they did, you would be in jail and facing real prison time. It should bother you that the public statements of the LAPD read like they are talking a small misunderstanding.

“... our media constructing the news for us daily”

It is called a “consensus reality” bubble, where spinners create the new reality you will live in.

For G_d’s sake DO NOT THINK! If you do, you are in danger of popping the bubble and everyone will despise you.

Actual reality is very dangerous and can cause all manner of questions and upheavals. Pay no attention to things out of place or other anomalies; they are not to be seen or thought about. Spinners will spin them out of existence, and you will be safe in a cushy “consensus reality” bubble.

All you friends will love you, and, at the drop of a hat, sing along in the same chorus.

Repeat after me: ObamaCare is free. No one will lose their health insurance. You can keep your health insurance, and your doctor ...

And for G_d’s sake DO NOT THINK!

Who will play Dorner in the upcoming Hollywood movie, which will no doubt add to his cult hero status?

“Dorner is a dead man walking. I have no sympathy for him. Having said that, I find this an interesting case study in systemic failure. He is a product of the system. Having received training in both the military and the LAPD, he is perfectly positioned to wreak havoc on the very same entity that trained him. One man cannot sustain an attack on law enforcement for more than a few hours without community support. Fatigue will get him. His demise is inevitable unless elements within the community rally behind him and give him support.

What is more interesting is that he has single handedly turned the LAPD upside down. They are afraid as evidenced by their shooting at shadows. In the broader scope of things, they have been shown to be vulnerable. Others are watching. The question before us is this an anomaly or is it the first outbreak of a growing contagion?

It is an age old pattern, action is followed by reaction. The sympathy this guy is garnishing may lead to escalation. All that is needed for escalation to occur is for a few gangland wannabes to decide it is open season on the LAPD. Should that happen, this thing could really pop. When control freaks start to lose control, they immediately ratchet up to lock downs. In a lock down nothing moves.

Should it last a day or two, then it will be viewed as a minor inconvenience and quickly forgotten. Should it last longer than that, a new dynamic will emerge. After a few days, the population will find itself prisoner to the forces that were set up to serve and protect them. They will come to discover that their issues are relatively unimportant.

Domestic violence cases, trespasses and burglaries will not be responded to in any kind of timely manner. Soon it will become readily apparent that any security that is provided will be provided for the police and their families. More missteps will take place. More innocents will be killed or injured.

Over a protracted period of time, the LAPD will lose legitimacy in the eyes of the general public. At that point the statist’s argument that the LAPD should have a monopoly of force will lose credence within the general population.

What happened in New Orleans may play out in LA in that some police units could go rogue. Should that happen, others will simply walk off the job. In some areas gangs already have a monopoly of force. I suspect should things unwind, in other more upscale areas, some of our gun abolitionists may very well come to lament their lack of high capacity magazines.” by Cloud9.5 via zero hedge

I think we were ragging on the police because they shot a 71-year-old woman because she was a passenger in a blue truck that they “mistook” for Dorner’s gray truck. They also shot up a black truck. Neither truck they shot up was the correct make or model either.

And when asked, the police had the audacity to say that both trucks were “similar in appearance” to Dorner’s truck. We have pictures of the two trucks — the weren’t even similar to each other, much less his truck.

I don’t think police deserve to be shot, but when they run around shooting old women when they are trying to catch a 242-pound black man, I think they deserve a little mocking.

Remember, in Florida a guy is being prosecuted for murder for using a gun in self-defense against a guy who was on top of him beating his head into the ground. But because the two were police officers, I don’t think either of them is going to be prosecuted for shooting an old woman.

So have any of the particular officers been charged or even fired? Nope. Why is that? If a large black man selling magazines walked up my walkway and I shot him, do you think I’d get a mistaken identity Mulligan? The police, as a whole, have accepted a culture where their actions are based not on serving the public, but rather accepting harm to the innocent if it increases their safety. That is what it means when these “bad apple” cops get to skate out of trouble that would put anyone else in prison.

You sure turned a SPECIFIC event that I referenced into a wholesale attack by me against every cop in LA. Conflate much?
The point being that large urban police forces definitely rend to have a high proportion of crooked thugs posing as peace officers. I do not pretend to have all the answers, but I do believe that private efforts hold more promise than public police efforts. Unions make it possible for public police forces to turn into fascist orgs.
