Former congressman Allen West (R., Fla.) posted a message on Facebook Wednesday warning a group of students from Florida Atlantic University that if they continue to harass his wife “you will face me.”
“The students from Florida Atlantic University who have gone to my wife’s office, stalked her at the FAU Board of Trustee meetings, and sent letters to her company headquarters, end it now,” West wrote in his message, posted at 11:21 a.m. “This is not a threat, it is a promise that if Angela calls and tells me of one more incident, you will face me, the side of me that you do not want to see.”
West, a former Army lieutenant colonel, retired from the U.S. Army in 2004 following a controversy over methods used during an interrogation of an Iraqi detainee.
West informed the students that he understood why he, a public figure, is the subject of smear tactics originated by the late Chicago activist Saul Alinsky.
However, he added, “My wife Angela is an American citizen and if you believe that you can intimidate her to surrender her freedoms you are mistaken.”
“This is your one and only advisory notice,” he said.
More than 9,000 people have liked Col. West’s post at this writing.
I completely understand the Alinsky tactics and have no issue with the insidious and incessant personal attacks by the left against me. However, I am warning you, end your harassment of my wife Angela. They best be advised to climb down ASAP.
I would take the Lt. Col's statements with the utmost of prudence, were I one of the campus lowlifes causing these disturbances.
Uhh, I don’t think I’d f**k with Lt. Col. West boys. If he says that this is the only warning yure gonna get, I’d believe him. On the other hand, If you’re gonna be dumb, ya gotta be tough!

I tend to concur.
Provocation is one of the left’s oldest tactics; if you fall for their bait and lay a finger on one of them, all of a sudden they become the victim and we become the bully.
By the time he bails himself out of jail and pays a team of lawyers to fend off the endless barrage of lawsuits that will be piled on (look what they did to PALIN) he will be too broke and discredited to ever run for any office again - and that’s probably the whole idea.
It probably cost the establishment Republicrats and Demicans a lot to cheat him out of Congress, and they are determined to keep him out.
Families of opposition are always fair game to the Marxists - just like they are to the Muslims, who allegedly forced Cain to drop out of the primaries by threatening his grand children after he stated that he would not appoint a Muslim to a cabinet position.
I guess the SS who were assigned to him after several preceding credible threats advised him that they would probably follow through if he didn’t comply.

Col. WEST knows Islam well; probably better than most Americans do. That’s likely another reason why the regime wants to keep him out.
Right now Islam and communism are working together like a tag team; look how Obama has infiltrated the whole government with his Muslim Brotherhood chums.

These people don’t usually win by their own superior merits; they’d much rather destroy their opposition and anyone else who gets in their way.
Allan WEST may represent a lingering political threat to this regime, and is almost surely targeted for elimination... one way or another.
Hopefully he has a loyal cadre of capable Veterans - perhaps former members of his command - helping to watch his - and his loved one’s - six.
