Tom Horn attacks Fatima on Sid Roth's "It's Supernatural"
La Salette Journey ^ | April 26, 2013 | Paul Melanson

Tom Horn sees demons everywhere. The Assembly of God pastor and author of numerous works of anti-Catholic theology-fiction such as “The Ahriman Gate,” “Nephilim Stargates” and “As It Was in the Days of Noah,” is now accusing the Catholic Church, the Church founded by Jesus Christ, as preparing to welcome “an alien savior.” In his new book entitled ‘Exo-Vaticana: Petrus Romanus, Project L.U.C.I.F.E.R., and the Vatican’s Astonishing Plan for the Arrival of an Alien Savior,” Mr. Horn warns that “Rome is busy now hypothecating the astonishing doctrines that will facilitate the coming of a Galactic Savior.”

Horn’s thesis (and that of his co-author Cris Putnam (who the book touts as a “respected theologian and apologist) is that the Roman Catholic Church is searching the skies for demons who will soon arrive on planet earth in the guise of aliens and will baptize these demonic entities. Additionally, these two authors claim that the Church has been preparing for an alien savior for many centuries and that the Virgin Mary who appeared at Fatima was really a demonic deeption Horn and Putnam write, “Considering Constantine’s fourth-century sighting got it started, the event in Fatima, and all the sightings over the Vatican, Roman Catholicism arguably qualifies as a UFO religion.” (P. 367).

Tom Horn? Didn’t they hang him in Wyoming in 1903? I saw it in a movie where Steve McQueen played him.

Many beleive that the gift of prophecy along with the other charismatic gifts ended in the 1st century A.D. (1st Cor 8:13) There is also the test for prophecy and that is, that it must be 100% accurate, and 100% accurate every time.

I must have missed the bit about Pope L. Ron Hubbard I in my grade-school catechism. I'm sorry Roth had this guy on as a guest. In general I like his show.

Best reason why I never watch religious TV. I’ve even tossed my Scofield Reference Bible and went back to using a Cambridge or Oxford KJV with no notes.

We used to have a FReeper, Quix, who believed in this nonsense, lock, stock, and barrel.

I have to say, it would make a great movie. Starring Tom Hanks, maybe.

Does this mean Sid Roth, who went to all that trouble to convert to Christianity, converted to the WRONG KIND of Christianity and is going to roast in hell forever anyway?

The ugly side of Protestantism that I’ve always hated. This sounds like the old Chick publication stuff back in the 70’s.

I fully realize the Catholic church isn’t perfect and has had it share of corruption, but give me a break. It has been the conservative bastion of Christianity in world of Liberation/Prosperity Gospel filth. Pope Francis is nothing like I’ve ever seen in a pope.

There's a simple way to test this: wait and see if he's right. (Now the insane will say week after next, "See, it didn't happen so he's wrong.") I say again, wait. If he's wrong, then let's simply disregard it.

But what if he happens to be right. What're we going to do then?

Why do you Catholics rail so much.

I’m Southern baptist...we never ever mention you guys.

We got our own salvation ideas that keep us busy.

I would note I see Catholics here claim other churches are apostate every day....

yes I like your Pope too

in fact I liked the last two as well

now get your fellow parishoners to vote like the church instructs at the same level Southern baptists do and our country will be ours again

and you guys will have more time to carry on about outlier nuts like the one this thread is about

*I do not know how any of these folks/things are...Roth..Horn or Fatima legacy

I’m a Protestant who grew up in very Evangelical circles and Catholics were considered a cult. This stuff was discussed often and circulated widely. Of course this was before JPII took over and the church was mired in the liberal 70’s, but still, it was way over the top.

As a lifelong Catholic I wholeheartedly agree that our Church has more than it’s share of problems and challenges (including an intractably stubborn and arrogant leadership that makes confronting our flaws all that more difficult).

But I can genuinely reassure my Protestant brothers and sisters we are NOT scanning the skies trying to cultivate ties with demons from outer space.

Protestants need to realize that though we don’t agree on some doctrinal specifics, OTOH we need to hang together on taking conservative moral stands.

Yes, fossilized stubbornness is a hallmark of old institutions. Protestantism often suffers the opposite, a virulent fractious instability that divides and weakens. Both are often ego driven even though flipsides of each other.

Laity has their feet upon the ground. However, leadership is completely Jesuit. The mighty Jesuits now control the catholic Church. You can’t make this stuff up!
