Benghazi: Prologue to Impeachment
Self | 5/11/13 | Me

Posted on 05/11/2013 8:29:40 PM PDT by xuberalles

No matter how much Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and the mainstream news try to deflect blame and change the narrative of what happened in Libya on September 11th, 2012, remember this inescapable fact: Benghazi makes Watergate look like Kindergarten! And we all know how that ended! For this very reason, the American public - but especially those victims of a complicit and apathetic administration - demand justice! The safety of our citizens, the sovereignty of this nation, must never be sacrificed in fears of upsetting radical Muslim sentiment. Real leaders don’t make excuses, blame the innocent, or conspire with the liberal media to sweep a treasonous crime under the rug. Real leaders act swiftly and unconditionally on the behalf of the people they serve, the rule of law they embody, the understanding they are accountable for their actions and that of their administration. Today, America is without a leader, a rudder, a shepherd of truth and dignity. It is not “We the People” who must stand down, but rather those who have forsaken our trust and good will with propaganda and juvenile contempt. Hell hath no fury like the voice of the betrayed! In the words of Shakespeare, “if you cut us, do we not bleed? If you wrong us, shall we not revenge”…seek justice? Now they know the answer.

Benghazi had nothing to do with George Bush, budget cuts, sequestration or anti-Muslim videos. It had to with this administration....i.e., Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton...being fully cognizant of the fact our embassy was under attack and that assistance was nearby and ready to act. Instead of doing everything in their power to protect American lives, their sworn duty to safeguard our interests here and abroad, our Government chose to "stand down" and be complicit with murder; an order that can only come from the president himself. And then, to compound their unspeakable betrayal, this administration falsely accused/imprisoned a filmmaker, blamed Islamic terrorism (which they fund), conspired with the media, other federal agencies, to hide the truth, and threatened/demoted “uncooperative” witnesses who wanted to testify before Congress. That, in its most elementary form, is Benghazi in a nutshell. It also goes by another word...treason...which is punishable by death, lifetime imprisonment, or exile. Richard Nixon was impeached after covering up a break in of Democratic National Headquarters. Now you tell me who's the real enemy of the state?

The Judiciary Committee had voted in favor of some of the articles but it had not gone to the full House of Representatives. After the “smoking gun” tapes came out, Barry Goldwater (and I think some other very respected members of the party) went to the White House to tell Nixon that his support had collapsed. It was very shortly after that that Nixon announced he would resign.

The Kenyan basket shooter misser is not presidential material. He's nothing but a facade. A puppet put in place by our sworn enemies with a mission to destroy as much of America as he can from within.

The democrats have sold out and excepted this imposter because they think he's a vehicle to get the communist oligarchy they so desperately desire.

This is a political fight to the bitter end and it's one we must not be afraid to wage. The Rinos better wake the hell up or get the hell out of the way.

the articles were being drawn up against him, but he resigned before they could be presented.

The articles of inpeachment were drawn up and passed in the House of Representatives. Then Nixon resigned knowing what he faced in the Senate.

Clinton was impeached. The Senate did not convict.

Clinton has that fact historically recorded.

Obama may get the same.

Nope Not going to happen.

Predicting defeat when the odds are against you is what a defeatist does.

I say, let's struggle to succeed and let the chips fall where they may.

Nixon was threatened with impeachment and resigned in disgrace. He lived out his life in solitary remorse, forsaken by his party and the public.

Clinton was impeached and wears it like a badge of honor. He is treated like royalty in every forum. He is a rock star in his party and a respected figure on the national and world stages. His impeachment is treated either as non-event or used as a tool to humiliate and denigrate and belittle his detractors.

Considering these circumstances, Obama will never see justice.

C’mon, be proud that the muslim voice was so proud of a black muslim in the White House that they decided to immediately make history by having a Nobel Prize bestowed on the first black American president.

They wanted their move recorded and inflated for all history to look back on their hero.

This is not going to end well as he stokes the muslim mid east....all at Americas expense while pushing the UN on the US.

There is not the moral outrage that there was in our country during watergate. Now we are expecting our politicians to lie cheat and kill to stay in power.

I think they were just as ruthless back then. However, back then they still followed the rule of law.

These days, the rule of politics trumps the rule of law. Today, our politicians are making the claim that if they commit a crime and it's a Republican that complains, then it becomes "political" and the politician should be excused from charges.

Obama is in a descending sprial—he will not finish his term—it will be this or something else. His corruption is, I believe so bad, that its going to come out in spades. I believe that the Obama White House will do anything to change the subject—Even Wag the Dog strikes on some 3rd world nation, propping it up as an attack on America. He will try to tar the whole thing as a Right Wing Fox News Plot-—a Kotch Brothers/Libertarian affair. Obama will go on Vacation! Maybe to Europe where they love him. It might be that the Joint Chiefs will need to yank him out of the White House with tanks.

They were allowed to die to silence them. We had been running weapons, including missiles, to the Syrians. This administration is totally out of control and has the blood of many upon their gnarled hands.

Obama is far too narcissistic to resign. Won’t happen.

The Won does act swiftly and unconditionally on behalf of the people he serves.

The problem is that he serves the barbarians on the other end of the BlackBerry.

How do you eat an elephant?

One piece at a time.

If nothing else continuous pressure about Benghazi will probably make Obama too centered on a defense thus lowering his shields for a flank attack, such as his falsified past.
