Absolutely beyond belief. They have nothing to work with after a year of the FBI digging in an effort to find something with which they can work to bring a civil rights case against George Zimmerman, so
On Monday afternoon, the US Department of Justice appealed to civil rights groups and the general public across the country for tips on George Zimmerman in their pursuit of potential federal civil rights charges against the just-acquitted defendant in the Trayvon Martin killing. The DOJ actually went so far as to set up an e-mail address to allow such tips: Sanford.email@example.com. The email address is slated to go operational by the end of the week.
Barbara Arnwine, president and executive director of the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law told the Orlando Sentinel that the DOJ had held a Monday conference call calling on us to actively refer anyone who had any information that would help build a case against Zimmerman. They said they would very aggressively investigate this case, Arnwine stated.
According to Arnwine, the call began at 3:30 p.m. with Tom Perez, Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division of the United States DOJ, and representatives of the FBI on the line. Several prosecutors joined the call, too.
Thomas Perez, who is up for Labor Secretary and whose nomination has been held up by Republicans in the Senate so far, is the same walking disaster who opted not to prosecute the New Black Panthers for brandishing night sticks and making racist threats outside a Philadelphia polling place in November 2008.(SNIP)And now Perez is heading up what can only be described as a fishing expedition in an effort to find something anything which would support the nonexistent narrative of Zimmerman as racist who hates blacks...

Dollars to doughnut holes they pass a new law and apply it to Zimmerman retroactively.
We now have a full-blown dictator. He flaunts the rule of law.
We could have some fun with this...(whistles innocently)...
Do you really want to go on the DOJ’s list of enemies?
Yeah, me too!!! :)
I hear Zimmerman may have watched Paula Deen on the Food Network once or twice. Should I submit my concerns???
Considering how widespread government surveillance is. (that we just learned about because of the Snowden affair) I'm guessing all of us have been on that list for quite a while....
This Very Well Could Be The Worst Thing The Obama Regime Has Done
you forget , “ YET “
Worse than allowing the murder of 4 in Benghazi?? I DON’T THINK SO.
I fully expect the Homo-in-Chief to unilaterally nullify the Constitution any day now.
I pretty much think Fiona the Hutt has blown all future action against Zimmerman with her interviews on various TV shows.
It’s an official witch hunt.
Hold a brown paper bag up next to your face and look in the mirror.
If it’s darker than your face, you’re on that list.
It can be easily proven that Zimmerman once called for the murder of all weathermen (’You don’t need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows’)!
When Zimmerman was in 5th grade he had to do a report on the country of Niger, that is only one letter from the dreaded N-word! Should be enough evidence for a hate crime charge under Holder.
Not even close to the worst thing this lawless commie has done....
Nope, the worst THINGS this lawless commie has done involve the DEATHS of United States citizens (as well as Mexican ones).
in all matters the race industry no longer want justice or equality. they want to go back to the way they believe things were for black people in the 1950s. Only this time white people's civil rights are violated.
where is the aclu?...where is the aba?.....what has been going on is obscene and IMO illegal action....
Is the tip line the same number they used for the IRS and Bengazi investigations?
Whoever remembers something that Zimmerman said way back when better have a tape recording of the conversation.
