People are still being killed from Fast and Furious guns. The 4 Americans that needlessly died in Benghazi. The truth has been killed as the IRS and DOJ scandals continue to go unanswered. Do liberals really think they can get away with destroying our freedoms like this? The sad thing is so far they have.
Conservative leaders allege the media are trying to ignore the once high-profile scandals overshadowing the Obama administration, as President Obama and his aides aggressively push the claim that these controversies are “phony.”
The “phony scandal” line was the unofficial talking point of the week in Washington. White House Press Secretary Jay Carney made it his fallback retort from the podium — when asked about the president’s new wave of speeches on the economy, Carney explained Obama was trying to refocus Washington away from “fake” controversies.
For three speeches in a row, Obama hammered this refrain: “With this endless parade of distractions and political posturing and phony scandals, Washington has taken its eye off the ball.”
But, at least on the IRS targeting scandal, both the Obama administration and the mainstream media took that controversy quite seriously when it broke in May. MSNBC’s Chris Hayes called the selective screening of conservative groups a “genuine abuse of power” at the time.

So - we are all outraged. Our leaders in DC are not going to do anything - this is no surprise to any of us, is it? But he works for We the People and it is OUR Constitution he is attacking. Proactive solution would be to ...?
This man knows just how to push our buttons, and he is in absolutely no fear of us whatsoever. He fears the U.S. Congress even less. Next week it will be something even more outrageous, and he will laugh like hell when we pee ourselves over it but do absolutely nothing.
The scandals are very real. What is not real is the unquestioning acceptance of the “new normal” by such a wide swath of the voting public out there.
Richard Nixon did not get away with such blatant abuse of the public trust (which some said became the “pubic thrust” of its time).
Sure, there are the sycophant pressitutes that have totally abandoned their “objectivity”, such as it was, in the pursuit of this “new normal”, but that does not fully explain the total atrophy of critical thinking, that has resulted in the exponential growth of “low-information” voters, as if they were TRYING to remain ignorant.
Just keep hammering the undeniable parallels and similarities between Nixon and Barack Hussein Obama. In only one important category do they greatly differ - Nixon was actually American, while the question is still unanswered in the instance of the Current Occupant of the White Hut.

Dead end hearings that are eked out over long stretches. No indictment, no accountability, no justice. Administration abuses pile up, get deeper and more flagrant. Typical day in Congress.

Now THAT is a phony scandal, because I just made it up.
Benghazi, Fast and Furious, IRS abuses, NSA snooping...compare and contrast. No one made those scandals up, they are real, and real people have been killed and injured by them.
HOW DARE HE CALL THEM PHONY???
An appalling transgression that rises to the level of treason.
