That is an excellent summation of what I think is many libs problem. They secretly wish conservatives were as racist and hateful as libs wished they were.... the better to have a cause. Libs live for causes. Nothing wrong with that as far as it goes. But when it distorts reality, libs get themselves in big trouble.

exactly! libs truly believe they have a patent on compassion, understanding and tolerance. no way these basic human traits would exist in the conservative mindset. take the emotion and sentiment out of lib/progressive politics and they have nothing at all. they don't want us to be racist and hateful the NEED us to be. democrats - all tactics and no strategy!!

I'm 63. I've seen happen over the years the demonization of anybody considered conservative by not only nutty leftists but also average lib scribblers and intellectuals. Liberals used to look at conservatives, like W.F. Buckley, as odd creatures worthy of liberal amusement. But now large percentages of libs believe 50% of the population are hideous, deformed, mad creatures who should be either imprisoned or killed off entirely.

I was listening to a progressive radio station last week, and they had some guest who ranting about evil conservatives who hated gays. I guess this clown must include Obama and many other libs as haters as well, because most of them opposed homosexual marriage until recently. But failure to understand how huge hypocrites they are has never been a lib strong suit.
