The Atlantic–mainstream media!–has two articles that push us in that direction. First, “I Pedophile,” by David Goldberg–a Canadian journalist convicted for viewing child pornography–argues that his obsession with children is a “sexual orientation:”
The main query that I am convinced will always be without an answer is why I am a pedophile. It is the equivalent of trying to determine why someone is heterosexual or gay. We don’t choose our sexual orientations. If we could, believe me, no one would choose mine.
Then, he says incarceration isn’t the right approach to child porn consumers:
I am not advocating the cross-generational lifestyle. In fact, there is never an instance when an adult should engage in sexual behavior with a child. But until we as a society learn that help for those who view child pornography is a far better alternative to incarceration, we are doomed to see the continued proliferation of this problem. Scientists don’t know for certain if there is a correlation between viewing child pornography and offending against children. Wouldn’t it be nice to get pedophiles help before we find out for certain?

Goldberg says he is “lucky” to have been caught in Canada and given only a 90-day jail sentence. Otherwise he would have had to spend time with “hardened” criminals. But who is a more hardened criminal than someone who victimizes children?

I believe he is correct. It is a sexual orientation.
Like Necrophilia, Homosexual sex, Coprophelia, and all the other perversions.

I don’t know how pervert homosexuals changed their perversion from a sickness to prime time, but it is little different from pedophilia, in fact many homosexuals are pedophiles.
I say lets go back to what it used to be all of these sick bastards have sexual orientations that are perverted. Why separate them, They are all sick. Why accept one and not all.
Shoot them and clean up the gene pool.
In 50 years, paedophilia will be legal and protected by law. Anyone who finds this idea unthinkable should reflect on the precedents that have been set in recent years compared to how things were back on the 1950s.

Tell me again (or for the first time...) why a pre-teen is not old enough to make the decision to have (heterosexual) sex, but is old enough to decide to be a homo; they can decide to have an abortion without telling their parents, but can't take an aspirin in school....

The best explanation I read of why Christianity grew quickly in the Roman Empire, is because it protected women and children. The weaker will always be the prey of the stronger - and sex is a very common manifestation of that. No surprise that Christianity is considered bigoted while pedophilia grows in acceptance
We see a cycle of virtue followed by a cycle of immorality and destruction, which will then by necessity, turn to virtue again. We are moving deep into the stage of immorality and destruction it seems.

My new orientation will then be to try and bash skulls of pedophiles. It’s a choice...and one that many of us will make. Children cannot consent and while I am too late to serve my country, I WILL do what is necessary to protect children.
I think it's time to start thinking of a new name for what used to be the USA. Maybe something modeled after the 'European Union'. Here are some ideas:

The fact is that most pedophiles aren’t interested in young teens - they like them under the age of 5.
And if they get a live victim, the things they do to them are so disgusting, they would make you vomit!! (I had an affidavit that contained a chat log of a pedophile I was reading on my computer - my husband looked over my shoulder and almost got sick - literally.)
These individuals should be sent to a remote island where they have no contact with society ever again. Sorry - no pity here for these people, just for the victims and their families!
The mentally insane progressives are being empowered by tax money. The first thing that progressives do is tap into our tax money. They are also being empowered by stubborn democrat voters who are either in a world of their own or they refuse to vote with their morals. All they seem to care about is government give aways or defending the twisted liberal causes that their celebrity role models promote.
For all those people who think they are be so sophisticated when they make empty remarks such as “you can’t legislate morality”. What do you think government is supposed to legislate—immorality?

Pedophilia is the bedrock of homosexuality. There is absolutely no scientific evidence ( DNA, chromosomal analysis, biochemical marker, etc) of a gay gene. What is known is that the first homosexual experience of an individual occurred when the individual was a minor. Often the partner was an adult or another minor who had been seduced by an adult. This is a real cultural problem. Homosexuals are major contributors and a large contingent of the Democratic Party. The Democrats will slowly but surely accommodate the pedophiles. Democrat appointed judges and the NEA will do their usual damage. This is a cultural battle that must be fought.
