The irony is that a Nobel Peace Prize winner was so eager to bomb a country (so that he isn’t mocked as all bark and no bite) that he wouldn’t bother with national much less international approval.
Or even U.N. reports that it might be rebels who gassed their own instead of Assad gassing rebels, so he might bomb innocent people attacking a dictator as a false flag operation was intended to do.

I’ve dealt with several officers in the last year who were very PC. Even though they retired from active duty they have been brainwashed. Don’t like Obama but would never speak out against them.

They also happen to be very anti-gun for the peons.

He's a Chief Petty Officer, not a commissioned Officer. For his sake, I hope he's wearing a collection of service ribbons he picked up at the Navy Exchange and not the ones that he's earned. In this day and age he could easily be identified by the devices on his left breast. The rating badge narrows the search down as well.

That said, I think that the Middle East has been the occasion of the expenditure of far too many American deaths. I say evacuate the Christians, Jews and other "Infidels" - quarantine the region and let the kill each other.
