Rafael Cruz garner tremendous support from the environmental lobby: they could recycle/reuse all those lawn signs..

And the "Junior senator" from Texas would be the father of the "senior senator" from Texas..how kewl is that?

And throughout this great nation, I hope the angry, seething formerly-quiet masses of pissed off real American Taxpaying citizens for sovereignty also sweep their houses clean of this appeasing elitist filth and his ilk all over the country.

Cornpone is attempting a media blitz of half-truths about his record. I tried to tell him not to waste money on a campaign but hey, it isn’t his money so what the heck.

The adds are revolting and I wish someone would challenge them line for line.

Sen. R. Edward Cruz (R.-Texas) has a job approval rating of 73 percent among Republicans and Cornyn 46 percent,

Holy! Cornyn can be taken out in a runoff, just as Dewhurst was. The question is, who would be the Tea Party candidate. Wyatt and Stovall don’t seem to be getting any traction and Vega looks to be a RINO on immigration.

I agree with your thought, but I have long silently maintained to myself that the arrogance and political catechism of ‘junior’ and ‘senior’ with respect to a United States Congressman or Senator is patent bullshit.

In effect, tagging an member of Congress with such is an insult to the ultimate holders of that office - the people of that district or state. In this regard, calling them ‘junior’ is an unwarranted and completely inappropriate act. No group in this country should have ‘seniority’ over another.

I agree, it’s a joke a year out all his commercials telling us how conservative he is.

Obviously, he is really scared of his next opponent.

I can’t wait to vote him out and replaced by another Cruz like Texan.

MSN wants us to think the TP is dead. Wait til the results of 2014 come in, they’ll be shocked yet again.

If we can pick 5 or 6 seats, and have all of them filled with this "generic" type, that would be a beautiful thing, aka a Sarah Palin type surge to send Ted Cruz and Company, 5 or 6 more like them as reinforcements.

Horpfully other(s) joining Cornyn in retirement, are the likes of one Southern Carolina Senator...

Yes, a year out. If I had anything but ill feelings toward him I would think he is pitiful. The adds are just an attempt to prop him and his ego up. Damage control attempts.

I just want to see the train wreck. He could be a tougher opponent than dewdrop was in the primary and the debates. That was like a lamb to slaughter... pretty boy meets highly educated and smart junk yard dog. I loved it. Dewdrop had that look on his face that said, “this wasn’t supposed to happen. They promised I’d win.” Ha, ha!

I like that.

It’s true, I think he really did expect to win. His adds against Ted very so over the top and bordering blatantly libelous.

That’s what un-nerves RATS about Cruz, what you said: Harvard Junk Yard Dog.

Who is NOT for sale to anything or anybody.

So many in TX wouldn’t know Cornball if he knocked on their door, but he still always wins. I don’t think he has ever lost an election. People like the familiar name even if they can’t place the face.

Texas atty general and nobody knew him then either but he promoted himself as conservative. I think he and Kay Barelyrepublican must be pew mates or something.

Time for him to lose and lose big time. Somebody strong needs to run against him though and make an exclamation point of the campaign.
