Smellin' a Pay Day:Jesse Jackson throws in his 2 nonsensical cents 'Duck Dynasty' star's comments
Jesse smells money in the Louisiana water!
Chicago Tribune reports Jesse Jackson Sr. has jumped into the controversy surrounding comments by Phil Robertson, star of A&Es backwoods reality TV show, Duck Dynasty.
In an announcement sent out Tuesday, Jackson Sr. compared Robertsons recent comments about African-Americans, gay people and women to comments made by the driver of Rosa Parks bus.
"At least the bus driver, who ordered Rosa Parks to surrender her seat to a white person, was following state law, he said in the release. Robertson's statements were uttered freely and openly without cover of the law, within a context of what he seemed to believe was white privilege.
Jacksons human rights group, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, has demanded meetings with A&E and with Cracker Barrel regarding the two companies treatment of Robertson, who stars in the show as the head of a Louisiana family that makes duck calls.
Clearly Jackson sees an opportunity to extort money under the table from scared organizations. Its what the race pimp does to be paid to go away.
If CB meets with him I will NEVER step foot in one again.
AE and CB could do this country a great service by simply saying NO to this scoundrel.
He needs to go see his son in jail and not DEMAND a visit with the Duck Commanders. They can’t bow to this despotism, arrogance and want to be god figure of J.J. He’s GONE.... off the stage. Time for a new actor to represent people of a darker skin. Really.
” My guess is that Jackson’s demand will be acknowledged by A&E but won’t be appeased because A&E probably learned their lesson about appeasing pressure groups.”
But Jackson assumes that at least Cracker Barrel Corp will bend to the Jackson extortion, which considering how quickly Cracker Barrel Corp pulled DD merch from shelves is a possibility, of Jackson getting some going away cash from them.
“Jacksons human rights group, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, has demanded meetings with A&E and with Cracker Barrel regarding the two companies treatment of Robertson, who stars in the show as the head of a Louisiana family that makes duck calls.”
*lmao*
Jesse jackson Junior never stood a chance having a father who was capable of bedding everyone of his son’s girlfriends.
How many BASTARD children is he supporting anyway?
That statement is certainly true about Jackson v. Mitsubishi here in Illinois, it's true about Jackson v. Anheuser Bush (where Jackson scored a distributorship for a nephew) and it's true now.
In 1992 I was working talk radio on a local radio station. In walks one of Jackson's henchmen proclaiming "there's too many WHITE people here and not enough BLACK people here!" (Fact is, there were NO black people working at the station, but that's besides the point.)
Owner of the station comes out, ushers Jackson henchman into his office. Twenty minutes later, Jackson henchman exits station owner's office with a big smile on his face saying "see you again next year!"
It's ALWAYS about money for Jesse Jackson, it's NEVER about "serving his community." If that were true, Jackson would never take money from those who could least afford to give it to him, "his people" as he calls them.
Jackson's nothing more than a race baiting poverty pimp who belongs in federal prison along with this stupid son, Jr.

Rainbow PUSH Coalition members picketed outside the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and Restaurant in Matteson on Friday, days after the restaurant chain announced it would be selling Duck Dynasty merchandise in its stores once again.
Known for its country-fried dishes and down-home aesthetics, the national restaurant chain pulled the gear from its shelves earlier this month after Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson disparaged gays in the January edition of GQ magazine. The 67-year-old Robertson also said that while growing up in Louisiana before the Civil Rights movement, he never saw mistreatment of blacks.
