Just to educate myself, I was Googling “state bridge & road tolls” and one resource said that in the 20th century, highway depts took over setting of all road/bridge-related tolls. I always thought it was the greedy/corrupt legislatures who jacked-up tolls and taxes. Now I’m even more confused than I was... heh.

If this is true then it should be in breaking news as evidence of a whole lot of stupidity in New Jersey, the Christie camp, and the MSM.
