Did Fuddy Have an Open-Casket Funeral? (Media caught in deception)
Butterdezillion's Blog ^ | 2-3-14 | butterdezillion

Conclusion: The person in the casket shown by KITV is not from Fuddy’s funeral. The casket at Fuddy’s funeral had a different pall and had no body inside but did have an oval bump in the middle of the casket, which I presume to be an urn. The media used at least one instance of fake footage (and maybe two) to imply that Fuddy’s was an open-casket funeral, the family was photographed in positions you would expect if there was a body in the casket, and the casket was treated as if it had a body inside. The public was most likely unaware of the deception to be carried out by the media and honored what they believed was her ashes if they got close enough to see the urn in the casket.

Here’s youtube video of the actual funeral. At the 30 second mark the mourners appear to file past an open casket, and one woman extends her hand over what looks to be the body. At the 156 mark is a closer shot, with more emotional mourners passing a defnite open casket.
Thanks for the video link. It clearly shows Fuddy's funeral with people passing the open casket in which a hand that appears to be the same hand as in butterdezillion's #1 picture can be seen. From the way the mourners are acting, it is without a doubt Fuddy's uncremated dead body lying in the open casket.

Re:

Size of torso with hands folded....

I measured myself and I am far smaller than Ms Fuddy.

From my back to my top knuckle is 11 inches deep.

There should have been WAY more visible in Ms Fuddy’s case.

I agree, wholeheartedly.

I can’t be certain that is an urn. But given the casket dimensions we’re talking about and Fuddy’s size, I don’t think it’s possible for her body to be in that casket and have it look like that from somewhat above.

I apologize if it seems like I’m hounding you; I’m mostly just talking to myself, I think. lol

It is maddening that anyone should be having to ask these questions at all (most transparent administration ever).

No, that’s the image I used in my blog post. It has a different pall than Fuddy’s casket. That’s what I’m saying.

The sad ladies are looking at something, and the TV clip makes it appear that they are looking at the body in the casket, because the clip is edited to insert that image/footage of the open casket there. But the open casket footage they inserted is not Fuddy - as can be known by the pall being wrong.

The way we know what they would really see if they were passing by the casket is by looking at the casket image we can verify was actually there - because it is in the context of the funeral happening live. That is the image I posted from the Honolulu Diocese web page - and it shows just those 3 dark bumps sticking up.

We don’t even know if the casket was ever in the back of the church where those sad ladies were at. The only time we see the casket is when it’s up in the front of the church. But if they were looking at the same casket as was there while the funeral was going on, they were looking it 3 bumps - one probably an urn. People still cry at funerals where there is an urn. Those ladies could have been looking at anything - photos, the urn, etc. We don’t know.

What we do know is that the TV crew inserted an image of a woman in a casket, and it’s NOT Fuddy.

Elengr, I hear ya.... too much skulduggery, phoney baloney, obfuscation, and downright fraud and deception going on with this administration.

Back to that Fuddy funeral ...

Take a good look at everything in those pix.

Everything.

That’s the way it looks to me too. It’s her funeral, & they’re crying as they approach the body.

I’m trying to figure out the layout of that church. At 30 seconds, you see a woman at a wooden podium. The wall to HER left is all white. Next to the white portion of the wall is a doorway, with an exit sign over it. The casket is to the woman’s right, a step down from where she’s standing. Next to the casket is a very tall candle stand with a white candle in it. There are two lighted Christmas trees behind her.

At 34 seconds, the scene shifts to a priest giving a eulogy. He’s at a white-cloth-covered podium. To HIS left is a wall covered with slatted wood paneling. Next to his podium are two tall candle holders with white candles. No flowers or Christmas trees visible.

At 46 seconds, Yamamoto may be in the front row. I don’t recognize anyone else, including Abercrombie.

At 52 seconds, Abercrombie is speaking from the same podium from which the woman spoke—wooden podium with a white wall to his left and two lighted Christmas trees behind.

At 1:04, the scene switches back to the priest, with the wooden wall to his left and no decorations seen.

At 1:37, we see people in pews, women facing them as if going along the row, greeting them. Behind is ONE lighted Christmas tree. To the left is that same wooden wall you see when the priest speaks, but I don’t see his podium or the candles. Nor do I see Abercrombie’s podium. I see poinsettias in the background, but no funereal floral sprays, nor a casket (although it could be there, just out of view).

At 1:39, the scene is from the rear of the church. There’s a big marble-like structure in the middle of the aisle, halfway down. It looks like the type of thing upon which you would place a casket, but it appears as if the casket (when it’s shown) was up in front, near the altar. In this scene, people are up near the altar, but I can’t see a casket or funeral floral displays. Just the Christmas decor—trees and poinsettias. The people may be taking Communion. On each side is one tall Christmas tree with two smaller ones next to it. No wooden wall visible.

At 1:52, we see the crying women filing past the casket. Behind them, are seen many funeral floral arrangements and a door with an exit signs. One is on a high stand, so taller than the women and should have been visible in other shots. (Wouldn’t you have expected the reporters to film the notable people filing by, instead of unidentified women?)

At 1:57 you see the hands of the woman in the casket and even a little of her hair. I didn’t see anybody in the church wearing that bright pink, tie-dyed-looking dress.

At 2:03 there’s a view showing the casket, the podium from which Abercrombie spoke, with the white wall to the side and two Christmas trees behind the podium. The floral sprays look different and aren’t where they were when the women filed past the casket, even though others are filing past this casket.

I didn’t include it in my blog post because I didn’t want to get too complicated, but the video of the family rushing up to a casket to bid their farewells does not seem like it can be the same funeral, although the layout of the windows and placement of a wreath on the wall on the right side of the church (as seen there) matches the layout of windows and wreath on the left side, as seen in the photo of the family huddled near the casket by the yellow flowers and pulpit. So I think this is in the same church. But here’s a comparison of some discrepancies:

The image showing the family rushing forward to “say aloha”, compared to the image on the Diocese website, has:

1. white flowers looped around the left-most corner of the casket lid (v. white flowers in middle, green swag on each side

2. Easel to the right of the casket with 2 pages of writing posted side by side (v. no easel or body-in-casket image with one page)

3. No red chairs, and seemingly no ROOM for red chairs (v 2 large red chairs)

4. Candle placed substantially to the left of the casket (v candle placed very close to casket)

5. Candle’s drip pan below the height of the casket lid. (v. candle’s drip pan above height of casket lid)

6. Podium on the right side, by the 2 Christmas trees (v no podium showing anywhere on the right side of the chancel.

The wooden wall has also confused me. But I think we’re probably dealing with more than one funeral setting in the same church. KITV inserted alien footage of the casket with the body inside, and they could well have inserted alien footage of the “family” rushing forward as well. There’s a heavy lady with a bun in her hair and a loose floral dress who is in the image of the family rushing forward but is also in the line to greet the family up by the red chairs in another image. Seems like she’s not sure whether she is family or not, maybe... Or it’s from 2 different funerals - one having the red chairs set up and the other without them.

The news company put in the casket with the wrong pall to make it look that way. But check what your eyes actually see. Those women are looking at something and acting sad. That’s what your eyes see. We can’t see what they are looking at, and the short video clip of the woman patting the occupied casket is from a different funeral; we know that because it’s got the wrong pall. The video editing is to make you think that they are looking at the occupied casket, but the casket that was actually there at that funeral did not have Fuddy in it.

http://derekwongphotography.com/blog/2013/10/audrey-chris-halekulani-hotel/

This lovely couple kindly shared their wedding photos, and there you can see some more of how the church is arranged. The priest’s podium must have been on the altar level, up all the steps. Abercrombie’s was lower and the wooden wall must be at altar level, in the alcove-like area, whereas to the side of Abercrombie’s was the doorway. The marble-like thing is the baptismal font, apparently. While looking for these photos, I found quite a few images of the church choir; spotted Fuddy in none of them. The priests I found in the image search weren’t the guy who spoke at her funeral. btw, I learned that Catholics don’t give any eulogy at a Requiem Mass, but the video refers to the priest’s address as “the sermon.” It’s not a formal eulogy. It appears as if they did splice together footage from various events because even if they moved some items (like the flowers or the easels) for the services, I don’t think they would have moved all those funeral wreaths. Where would they have put them for the Mass? Later on, they may have put them into the limousine for transport to the cemetery (if that’s what happened next), but they seemed to be missing during the Mass and then reappeared for the final farewell walk-by. I’ll view it one more time to watch those red chairs and the lady with the bun.

I’m about to be offline for a while, so I can’t get too far into this discussion at the moment. However, I looked on youtube and found a tour of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, HI. It’s the same one. You’ll need to fast forward to 1.06 to start viewing the sanctuary. You get quite a few angles. What’s confusing, I think, is that this church looks to have at least six if not eight sides, and we don’t know the camera angles being used at the funeral. It can make for disorientation, especially since none of us has ever been there.

Another excellent interior shot comes at the 3.57 mark, and don’t miss 4.56; it’s an external view. One look at the outside layout, and you may get a sense of why we’re having difficulty quantifying the interior.

Hope this helps:

I believe it’s the same church; I’m not sure it’s the same event at the same church.

No, it’s not the same event. It’s obviously not Advent in the tour. I just thought a better look at the overall layout might help.

It appears that you have the wrong church, besides. The Fuddy funeral was at the St. Theresa CO-CATHEDRAL, not the many-sided St. Theresa Church. Look at the addresses.

The part about Co-Cathedrals was confusing to me, as I suppose it is to a lot of non-Catholics. From looking at Wikipedia, seems like the basic gist is that the congregation outgrew St. Theresa Church so a bigger church was built that acts not only as a church but also headquarters for the diocese. Did I come anywhere close to getting that right? Maybe the Catholics on here can pitch in.

Also, I’m not very familiar with how Catholics do the funeral service. Is communion/mass just part of the funeral service or is it a separate thing that follows the funeral service?

I’m sure the thing in the middle is a baptismal font. The idea is that the congregants be reminded of their baptism as they enter the sanctuary. That’s the layout for some Lutheran churches as well.

I need to do some real life (lol) but when I get back I’ll try to look at the video from that wedding so I can get a better feel for how the Co-Cathedral is laid out. Definitely confusing.
