9/11 truther Richard Gage is a preacher to a dying breed

Ask Richard Gage how he came to become obsessed with what he calls the “truth” about 9/11, and you hear what sounds an awful lot like a story of religious conversion.

It was March 2006, and the mild-mannered California architect was driving down the Pacific Coast Highway on his way to a construction meeting. Bored, he flipped on KPFA 94.1 FM, a listener-supported “free-speech” station out of Berkeley — “to hear what the communists were talking about,” as he later told me in a 2009 interview.

Up to that point in his life, Gage had been a staunch “Ronald Reagan Republican” (his words) and an Iraq War supporter. But what he heard on KPFA’s airwaves blew his mind.

“[The speaker] was talking about the 118 [World Trade Center] first-responders — information that had just come out in 2005 — who said they’d heard explosions and flashes of light, beams dripping with molten metal, all amid the collapse of 80,000 tons of structural steel,” he told me. “It hit me like a two-by-four. How come I’d never heard of any of this? I was shocked. I had to pull my car to the side of the road to absorb it all. I knew I’d be late for the meeting. But I didn’t care.”

Shortly thereafter, Richard Gage quit his job and moved out of his family home. His non-Truther friends thought he was acting weird, but it didn’t bother him: Gage now had a new life, traveling around the world as a sort of itinerant 9/11 Truther Extraordinaire, telling audiences large and small that we need a “new investigation” into the Sept. 11 attacks.

Why did the pentagon get hit with a 747 as well....wasn’t blowing up the twin towers enought pretense to go to war. ?

I'll give you a rational answer. NO 747 hit either the Pentagon on the towers. And that is an undisputed fact. Truther or not, I'd tell you to do your research before you try to discuss the issue.

people will wake up in America someday and realize they live in an evil country and those powers and principalities behind it now haven’t changed since Scripture was written...

There is enough proof this isn’t a Messiah led nation without Messiah led leaders, so of course, I don’t believe anything it, ‘they’ or their mouthpieces tell me what I should or shouldn’t believe..

But left/right, christian/muslim is low hanging fruit..much easier to see ourselves as the good guys...
I mean we see Muslims killing innocent people with bombs that make news..

We kill innocent more discreetly- on examination tables in ‘medical’ clinics and centers...

LOL- here are few of my favorite “truther” fanatasies:

A. yeah,planes hit the building but were being remotely
controlled- by the EVIL Bush admin.Also made sure muslims
were just onboard for the ride.

B. The Bombs planted in the building by “Secret”
maintenance men- over months- started right after
Bush got in the white house.

C. Radio controlled plane into the pentagon- on a mostly
vacant section- shows the military compliance with
this plot-

Obviously it was an inside job. The brilliant architectural structural engineers Willy Nelson and Rosie Odonnel have analysed the footage of the collapse. With there extensive experience in building demolition they have provided indisputable evidence that it was a controlled implosion. Rosie Odonnel has provided the fact that fire has NEVER melted metal.

How can anyone question the analysis of Rosie Odonnel and Willy Nelson?

If 9/11 was in fact,an "inside job",among those best qualified to declare it...and explain it....would be senior faculty members of schools like MIT and Cal Tech.These senior scientists would be all over the airwaves,and the scientific periodicals,with charts and graphs telling us,among other things,that there's no way that WTC7 should have collapsed *unless* it was deliberately sabotaged by dark,evil forces.

Apart from the occasional professor of Medieval Italian Literature at Bronx Community College we haven't heard a peep from academia on the subject.

I had one guy tell me that there was no reason the building should collapse just because the top floors caved. After all it was still the same weight.

I asked him to hold his hand over the desk and placed several hard cover books on it. I asked him if he could hold them. He said he could. I then removed the books, held them about five inches above his hand and dropped them.

After he stopped yelling I asked him if the weight of the books had changed.

That was the last time he brought the subject up.

I don't know how you deduced that. I think the truthers are pathetic at best, slanderous at worst.
