I have two college degrees and I absolutely adore the rednecks I’ve met. They’re patriotic and many will go out of their way to be helpful. My neighbor, who never met a fresh road kill she wouldn’t stop for regularly brings over chili. (Rule one. Never, never ask what’s in the chili.)

Conservatives are the new Negroes. Tolerated, but second class citizens, and required to be properly deferential to their “betters”, the elites. If they get uppity or vocal, they are destroyed, maybe not in the old way, but by the same party and in an effective way.
Over the years I have read tons (yes tons) of comments that are below news articles just for kicks.
Doesn’t make a difference if the subject is current events, crime, economics, sports or entertainment. If the subject matter has anything to do with race, culture or the President, you usually will see many comments that love to throw around the word “redneck” or “white trash” with as much hate and venom as racial slurs used many years ago.
There is a very large population of fellow americans that hate white folks that live in small town America because they know we do not worship their gods.

Some of us went to more than college. Hunt, fish shoot, brew beer, grow tobacco, barley, and hops.
Rednecks get envied, like kulaks did.
Jesus was a redneck too. So it would be quite fitting for most rednecks to believe in Him.
