Darn.
I was hoping for a happy ending and a well fed gator.

This song immediately came to mind...”There’s a gator in the bushes, he’s callin’ my name.”

Who knows it?

I had a New Jersey girlfriend for a number of years. One morning there was a big gator blocking the road so I got out with my whacking stick to make it move.

It Moved.

Joisy Girl locked me out of the Jeep and crawled as far under the dashboard as possible.

I couldn't get to her with the whacking stick, thought I was gonna have to bust a window.

We have a winner! :)

I got to see them live twice, very under-rated guitar band IMO. Now I’ve got the greatest hits playing on my PC...nice way to start a Friday.

I bought that album when it came out in 1978.

It’s still one of my favorites!

They must have put on a great show. I am envious.
I did get to see ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd together not that long ago. Two excellent bands as well.
:-)

I never got to see ZZ or Skynyrd. Actually .38 Special is my favorite of the southern rock bands, but there are a lot of good ones.

Never, EVER!, take a rice burner to an alligator wreck.

;-)

Jokes aside, that thief is lucky he is still alive. I hit a 9’5” gator at a mere 45 mph in a Range Rover. That scaly refugee from a BBQ grill bent the steering linkage and knocked off the right rear bumper end piece - interesting as he came from the left at a flat out run as I drove past.

While the RR suspension/tire combination resulted in just a mild bump and a loud thump, had I been in a small rice burner car, the results could have been far different.

Too bad the gator didn’t get to have a taste of car thief.
