Its hard to have an honest conversation about gay issues because liberals treat anything other than outright celebration of all things gay as hate. That doesnt leave people much room to discuss a complicated issue that involves real human beings who often have to deal with a lot of challenges because of their sexual orientation. If youre a compassionate person, you have to feel some sympathy when you talk to people who are closeted because theyre afraid that their relatives wont accept them or someone who feels isolated and alone because his sexual orientation makes it impossible for him to have a romantic relationship with 98% of the population. Life is hard for most of us and if you know people who are gay, chances are you recognize that its even harder for them.
Yet and still, you cant deny reality because there may be a few people who dont want to hear it. Sure, you dont want to unnecessarily create pain in peoples lives, but ultimately, nothing creates more misery than abandoning common sense because the obvious truth might hurt someones feelings.
1) You cant change your gender: Have you ever heard of Body Integrity Identity Disorder? Long story short, there are people out there who believe theyre supposed to have less limbs. Maybe they want to get rid of an arm or a leg. The problem these people run into is that surgeons consider it unethical to remove a healthy, functioning body part and refuse to saw off their limbs. Instead, they just refer these people to a psychologist. That seems to make sense, doesnt it?
Yet, when we have people who want to mutilate themselves to change their sex, we dont treat that as a mental disorder. Instead, we take it seriously. So seriously in fact, we have 9 year olds getting hormone treatments so they can pretend to be another gender.
If a client went to a doctor and said he thought he was a cow, we wouldnt send him to a surgeon to get horns and udders attached. Yet, you can no more change your sex than you can change into a cow. Even if you have a sex change, your sex hasnt actually changed. A man who mutilates himself to look like a woman, still isnt female. He cant have a child. Very few men are going to knowingly date a man whos surgically mutilated himself to look like a woman. This is a terrible, horrible thing were doing as a society to these mentally ill people. Instead of getting them the mental help they need, were catering to their pathology. Its cruel, its wrong, and a more compassionate society wouldnt wallow so deeply in political correctness that wed allow people to do this to themselves.
2) Some people do choose to be gay: Most Americans tend to believe that people who are gay either choose it OR are born that way. However, the evidence suggests that there tends to more of a range of sexual behavior for people who are gay. Some people are clearly born gay and have always been attracted to the same sex just like most heterosexuals are only interested in contact with the opposite sex. However, there are also people who are more sexually ambiguous and some of them CHOOSE to be gay. If you want to see an actual example of that, heres an excerpt of an interview I did with lesbian talk show host, Tammy Bruce.
John Hawkins: Let me ask a related question to this because I thought this was kind of fascinating because its so different from what you often hear. In the book, you were talking about how you came to decide that you wanted to be a lesbian and you pretty much framed it in those terms. It was a choice. You were attracted to men and women and you chose to you just liked women better would you say thats common or .
Tammy Bruce: Well, its difficult to say because its so politically incorrect to ask these questions. Its one of the reasons why and Ive made that discussion in the epilogue so that parents (could allow) their children (to read) at their discretion.
There is such a variety, at least within the community itself, about why women identify as lesbians, but even what that means.
There are a number of women who identify as lesbians, some of them, somewhat well-known, have regular liaisons with men. There are some women in the community that you could get to know whove experienced violence at the hands of men and have turned to women for that reason. There are other women who say that theyve been gay since theyve been born and that, of course, is also politically incorrect to question or to ask them how or why they know that.
If that doesnt convince you, then ask yourself why so many gay Americans end up with kids?
In the US, around 37% of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual people have a child, about 60% of which are biological.
In other words, there are a lot of gay Americans having enough straight sex at some point in their lives to produce a kid. Again, its clear that there are also people who are born that way, but there are an awful lot of gay Americans who dont fall into that category.
3) Conversion therapy is a good thing if people want it: Let me say it as clearly as I can: No gay American should be pressured, harassed or involuntarily forced to go to therapy to try to treat their gayness. That sounds more like brainwashing than therapy and its not something that should be going on in this country.
On the other hand, if someone whos gay WANTS to be treated, why should he be stopped from seeing a therapist? Granted, it would probably be futile for someone who has been attracted to the same sex since birth to try to change his orientation via counseling, but as weve already noted, not everyone is in that boat. There are plenty of gay Americans who also feel some attraction to the opposite sex. Whats wrong with letting them get therapy if they want it and think it will make them happier? As a psychology major, I can tell you that Ive read numerous old psychology books that matter-of-factly mention therapists successfully treating homosexual patients who then went on to date, marry, and have children. Does that mean it worked for every patient? Of course, not. No treatment works for everyone. But, would it work for some people who want treatment? Apparently, it does.
So, why should this even be a political issue? Because it makes some gay people who dont believe they can change or dont want to change uncomfortable? Because it might mean they have to tell some hopeful relative that, no, that therapy isnt for them? Thats certainly not a conversation anyone would want to have, but its morally wrong to deny therapy to people who might benefit from it because it makes other people uncomfortable.
4) Gay bullies have become commonplace in America: The biggest jerks you will ever run across are people who feel entitled to act like creeps because they believe theyre victims. A lot of gay Americans have had bad experiences with people whove treated them poorly because theyre gay. Its unfair, its wrong, and its something that shouldnt happen.
Unfortunately, a small subset of gay, liberal Americans wear their victimhood as a badge and believe it entitles them to oppress people who havent hurt them in any way. The whole idea that an unwilling Christian baker or photographer should be forced to bake a cake or take pictures at a gay wedding is fascistic. Its similarly despicable to try to get people fired for opposing gay marriage. The people doing these things arent victims or crusading for civil rights; theyre just run-of-the-mill ***holes who happen to be waving a rainbow flag.
5) Gay scoutmasters would be more likely to molest Boy Scouts: Theres a lot of back and forth on whether gay men are more likely to be pedophiles than heterosexuals, but in the end, it really doesnt matter very much when it comes to the Scouts.
Why is that?
Because a teenager in the Boy Scouts shouldnt be spending a lot of alone time out in the woods with someone who could potentially be attracted to him. This is so basic we dont even think about it when teen girls are involved. If a thirty year old, strapping male P.E. teacher took a group of 15 year old cheerleaders out in the woods, their parents would GO INSANE. Incidentally, theyd be right to be upset. Similarly, a gay man has no business being in the woods with a bunch of teenage boys. In fact, if the Boy Scouts ever allowed gay Scoutmasters in their organization, it would kill them as dead as Disco because most parents dont want their child spending a lot of alone time with an adult who could be sexually attracted to him. In fact, that is so obvious its clear that the people pushing this idea the hardest are primarily concerned with destroying the Boy Scouts, not enabling gay rights.
Natural Law without words.
Since others have already added 6, 7, and 8, add this as #9 to the list:
The homosexuals have a stranglehold on the media, psychiatric, judicial, and advertising industries. This makes it possible for them to control the message and law enforcement regarding homosexuality.
And it’s not just a large subset of homosexuals who are bullies: Many pro-homo heterosexuals are bullies against those who question homosexuality.
People who project their hatred onto those who question homosexuality are emotionally unstable enough, so when you imply they are hateful themselves, their reaction won’t be too pretty.
Yes, it may be too much to ask a lib to get in touch with its own feelings.
Here is what Muslims do to homosexuals.
In February 1998, the Taliban, who once ruled in Afghanistan, ordered this punishment for three men convicted of sodomy:
On Wednesday, the Taliban ordered the execution of three men for sodomy in the southern town of Kandahar, southern Afghanistan. They were ordered to be buried alive under a pile of stones and a wall was pushed on top of them by a tank.
Their lives were to be spared if they survived for 30 minutes and were still alive when the stones were removed.
Simple and clear reason says that executing homosexuals is wrong today, but where do the Taliban get the punishment of pushing a wall on the guilty men? Also, the article reports that while the religious police were meting out a flogging on a woman for fornication, a speaker chanted, “Thanks to God that we are followers of God not of the West.” This devout Muslim understands the deeper, spiritual conflicttwo religious systems are at work.
In its 1991 Constitution, Iran adopted the extreme punishment of execution for sodomy. Articles 108-113 say:
Sodomy is a crime, for which both partners are punished. The punishment is death if the participants are adults, of sound mind and consenting; the method of execution is for the Shari’a judge to decide.
Later on, the summary of the Constitution says that if the guilty repent, the judge may waive the penalty. But should this penalty exist in the first place? What is the source for this extreme law in the Iranian Constitution?
On April 7, 2005, it was reported that Saudi Arabia sentenced more than 100 men to prison or flogging for “gay conduct.”
On or about March 26, a Jeddah court, meeting in a closed session in which defense attorneys were excluded, sentenced 31 of the men to prison for six months to one year, and to 200 lashes each, for unreported offenses. Four other men received two years imprisonment and 2,000 lashes. Police released more than 70 of the men not long after their initial arrest; reports in the Saudi press suggested that personal contacts with the government had intervened on their behalf. However, on April 3, police summoned the 70 men back to a local police station and informed them that they had been sentenced to one years imprisonment.
Arrest and imprisonment and / or flogging for “gay conduct”? Why? Have these radical judges left Islam?
Execution, flogging, and toppling a wall on homosexuals come from the reliable hadith and later legal rulings in Islam. They sit at its core. Execution and flogging may also come from the Quran itself.
To explain how these extremes are embedded in Islam and how Christianity offers a better solution, this article is divided up into three large sections: Islam, Christianity, and an Application, including supplemental material.
The main section “Islam” is subdivided into three sections: the Quran, the hadith, and classical legal rulings. When we analyze the Quran, we also provide the historical and literary contexts of the target verse, in order to avoid the standard, reflexive “out of context” defense from Muslims apologists (defenders).
In ‘A Moveable Feast’, Hemingway declared he was prepared to kill any homosexual man who would try to sexually assualt him. I’m sure the homosexuals are trying to wipe this passage out.
This guy is spot on with every observation. But if I SAID any of this aloud here in Crazy Lib California, the only friends I’d have left would be my fellow conservatives on the Internet!
Interesting article. Thanks for posting it, 2DV.
Hemingway got it right!
“Anal lesions occur most frequently in men who engage in anal-receptive intercourse, where the association has been observed to be as high as 95% in patients.”

I've known quite a few lesbians. Every single one of them either had either very devastating or abusive heterosexual relationships, or were bisexual.
It has now passed into a truism that no one "chooses" homosexuality, this despite the fact that the scanty evidence we have says that it's no more than a predisposition for some males, and is most certainly not the least bit genetic for females. Scientists -- at least in the Downfallen West -- will not be permitted to carry on much further research in this area, or to publish the results if they're heterodox.
Still, when you point out to homosexuals that the evidence isn't really on their side, their reply is: "I can prove it to you. When did you choose to be straight?"
I've even heard the idiot Bill O'Reilly spouting this nonsense as "proof" that homosexuality isn't learned/chosen. [Because no one would "choose" to be homosexual if they had a choice.]
The problem with that "argument" is that it can be applied with equal efficacy to any non-normative, destructive behavior, and in the cases where you do that it quickly becomes clear by reductio ad absurdum how silly it is. When did millions of people "choose" to become alcoholics? When did millions of people "choose" to become junkies? When did millions of people "choose" to become compulsive gamblers, wife beaters, pedophiles, serial killers ... because no one would "choose" those lives if they really had a choice.
The flip side, that it must be hard-wired because nobody gets "cured" is equally dumb. Again, look at substance abuse. With all the societal pressure not to be an addict, and all the support available from friends, families and employers, and despite the enormous economic and personal costs, the very sad truth is that drug/alcohol rehab simply does not work for all but a relatively small handful of people. Fewer than 1 out of 20 substance abusers are cured by rehab programs. With the logic applied to homosexuals, that means we should stop trying to save the people that we can. [The 5% of addicts we save are worth saving, after all.]
HOMOSEXUAL, because there’s nothing GAY about it.
I’ll say whatever I want against queers, who can stop me!!
I hope they all die of aids!
