SWAT Unit Kills Two Dogs, Finds Little Evidence In ‘No-Knock’ Raid
The Daily Caller ^ | 07/09/2014 | Chuck Ross

Instead of leaving with the drugs and weapons they were sent to find, a Minnesota SWAT team executing a “no-knock raid” left with the bodies of a family’s two dead dogs.

“The first thing I heard was ‘boom,’” Larry Lee Arman told KMSP, recalling the raid which occurred in St. Paul at 7 a.m. on Wednesday.

“Bop, bop, bop, bop, bop. Right in front of us.”

Equipped with a warrant for drugs and weapons, the SWAT unit barged in while Arman was asleep on a mattress with his two children, shooting Mello and Laylo, the family’s two pit bulls.

“One was running for her life, and they murdered her right here,” Arman said, with his dogs’ blood still on his sneakers.

“I was laying right here, and I really thought I was being murdered.”

Camille Perry, Arman’s girlfriend and the mother of his two children, was in the bathroom when the SWAT unit broke down her door. She expressed anger that the kids could have been injured.

“The only thing I was thinking was my kids were going to get hit by bullets,” she told KMSP.

According to the station, the SWAT unit was executing a search warrant for weapons and drugs. After the shooting and a search of the house, the police unit recovered none of one and very little of the other, finding a small amount of marijuana residue, some clothing, and a bong.

St. Paul police told KMSP that the dogs were shot because the SWAT unit feared for their safety, and department policy allows for the removal of such threats.

Swat team is a disgrace and dogs are legally inside their home what did swat team think the dogs would do follow their verbal commands after breaking down the door rushing in yelling and screaming ? I am with the family this is murder.Every time it's the same ole story in fear of their lives. So if a human in the house starting moving he/she would be murdered claiming they feared for their lives. What is one of the kids moved towards the cop would he/she be in fear of their lives ?

Glad none of the kids were in a crib might have thrown a smoke grenade in there.

“......department policy allows for removal of the threats...”

Well, it may be policy, but it isn’t law. Regardless of ‘policy’, it is highly likely the SWAT team and police knew there were children in the home.

It may be policy, but if I’m ever on a jury for a civil suit on something like this, the police are going pay out the nose for their arrogance.

This will stop when a dog owner caps one of these cops while in the commission of animal assassination...and a jury acquits the dog owner of any crime

Law Enforcement better wake up...folks are tired of their pets being shot

The jury won’t need to acquit the dog owner.

He or she would be dead. Pull a gun during a SWAT raid on a SWAT team member and see what happens.

They’d be shot dead instantly. They might get one round off, and they’d be riddled with bullets in return by SWAT.

Enough of this sh*t. The towns that allow their police to run amuck like this need to be sued into oblivion.

Jack Booted Thug alert...This is becoming more and more typical of today’s cops in America.
Why are the politicians not taking issue of this increasing phenomenon? The entertainment industry is also to blame.

So if a human in the house starting moving he/she would be murdered claiming they feared for their lives.

More than likely, all of them would have been murdered, and some throw away guns placed in their hands. After all, they can't have any witnesses that survive. The cops would never do that, would they? No, not possible. They are all pure as the wind driven snow. (sarc off)

You are right. I hesitate to say what I really think, so I will keep it to myself, unfortunately.

Really, all you have to do...after your dog is shot by the cop on a judge-signed search warrant...is go to the judge’s house and shoot his dog. A couple of events like this....and judges will be thinking over the effect of a warrant and the people he has to rely up on to carry out the warrant. Shooting a guy’s dog...at the most...gets you a month in some county jail. But it sends a message once you do it in retribution.

Why are the politicians not taking issue of this increasing phenomenon?

Because all professional politicians want to grow the government. It's the business they're in. They've been growing it at twice the rate of the total economy, an expansion rate any private business would envy. Government is the most efficient wealth destroying mechanism ever invented so the expansion is inflating an unsustainable bubble that will collapse at some point. There will be a period when politicians will attempt to sustain their bubble business at all cost. History shows that means a militarized police state. We are seeing the start of that desperate period.

The best way to intimidate a captive population is not kill them, but kill their children. Dogs are the only family members Fedzilla can freely kill with no repercussions. The government hates dogs because they give citizens advance warning of approaching government workers.

..is go to the judge’s house and shoot his dog.
*******************************
Judges , cops , lawyers , clerks ,, anyone connected with the government has the public records scrubbed to hide any hint of their identity or residence ... everything from land and tax records to D/L and license plate info is hidden from John Q. Public ... this makes them identifiable during traffic stops so that cops know not to ticket and instead just “warn” them without them having to pull the “do you know who I am?” line...

Mr. Arman, has prior arrests for escape, possession of firearm by a felon, possession of drugs, fleeing police, conspiring to commit kidnapping, assault with dangerous weapon.

All these records can be viewed at Minnesota municipal court website.
