The Border Invasion - Fast & Furious in reverse

Posted on 07/19/2014 12:36:04 PM PDT by A'elian' nation

I haven't seen this connection yet, but it seems to me that the current border invasion is Fast and Furious in reverse. At least in political terms. Has there ever been an administration that foments international tensions in pursuit of its domestic agenda?

In Fast and Furious guns were run to Mexico with the assumption that these guns would come back to kill Americans. Then the Left would call for more legislation to control weapons in the USA and restrict 2nd Amendment rights. Children were killed in Mexico with these guns as was one of our border agents, Brian Terry.

The Obama regime wants immigration reform; another one of its items on its domestic agenda. Apparently they thought that a mass influx of "children" would be the impetus to get Congress moving on immigration.

Both the border invasion and Fast and Furious have now backfired on Obama in a political sense. But he no longer cares about his political future. His party and his base may be fleeing him, but his people are coming in; and that's his objective.

Obama is overwhelming the system, Alinsky style, by using and enabling his socialist friends in Latin America and beyond. The gateway to terrorist elements has undeniably been opened.

Playing international games in pursuit of domestic programs and the changing of America is something new on our horizon. Presidents have used international incidents ( like the Gulf of Tonkin ) as a means of entering military conflicts.

But this is different. This is not keeping the enemy at bay; this is bringing the enemy inside the tent by trumpeting legislation to accomplish just that.

But if the above were true, both political parties and the democrat agitprop arm would be howling for immediate impeachment - wouldn't they? Maybe they're not because it's in the interest of all three groups to : Destroy the middle class - Make the law (Constitution) null and void and cause general unrest which they confront with military hardware and 2bn rounds of ammo they've taken off the market -

Just something to think about.

Obama knows that he is impeachment proof. I would contend that he would love to be impeached to bring his base back and emerge the “black” martyr.

As for your other points, I can’t disagree.

In Fast and Furious guns were run to Mexico with the assumption that these guns would come back to kill Americans.

Actually, they were run to Mexico with the assumption that they would be used to kill Mexicans, and Ubama could say "See, the lax gun laws in the US are killing Mexicans."
