Why does the left keep aiming at our guns?
Coach is Right ^ | 9/13/14 | Doug Book

In 1996, Washington Post reporter and FOX News’ faux-conservative commentator Charles Krauthammer wrote “…the [Clinton Administration’s] assault weapons ban will have no significant effect either on the crime rate or on personal security. Nonetheless, it is a good idea . . . . Its only real justification is not to reduce crime but to desensitize the public to the regulation of weapons in preparation for their ultimate confiscation.”

Of course, Krauthammer soon learned that the American people cannot be “desensitized” to the left’s arrogant enterprises of would-be gun theft. On the contrary, recent in-your-face efforts by gun control zealots to force gun owners into 2nd Amendment defeatism have inevitably resulted in defiance, not submission. The unparalleled explosion in gun sales upon the installation of Barack Hussein in the White House, the absolute refusal to appease the left after New Town and the unexpected appearance of armed freedom fighters at the Bundy ranch; all have served to give provide the nation’s Krauthammers with a real education.

And today the left is faced with what may be its greatest fear—a serious, firearm owning public which has drawn a line in the sand that a gun grabbing government is not permitted to cross.

But why did the government choose this fight? Why did a battle over 2nd Amendment guarantees take on the seeming appearance of life and death to the American left? Was the Democrat Party somehow convinced disarming the American people would be an easy win? Did Chuck Schumer and Diane Feinstein really believe...

Why do Nazis and Communists want their opponents unarmed?

Well, it is much easier to kill them when they can’t shoot back!

There are only two groups of people who are for banning the private ownership of weapons.

The first group are those that truly believe restricting private ownership of weapons will make the country a safer place. This group can further be subdivided into those who are intellectually honest, and when shown the facts and evidence will change their opinion, and those who are so emotionally invested and so heavily propagandized that they will never change their opinions regardless of the evidence presented to them.

The second group is far more nefarious because they know that restricting private weapon ownership will not make people safer, and will in fact imperil their safety and well-being. Knowing that, their reasons for wanting to ban private weapons is nothing short of insidious and all about the consolidation and monopolization of power.

And it's much easier to fight the fight when 1) US taxpayers are paying your salary and all your bills and 2) most if not all your friends have gubmint jobs and are therefore more than willing to do your bidding as they smile as they fly around in gubmint jets.

And then there's all that Bloomberg money to throw around. too.

It's an easy target.

You can run a simplistic campaign starting with school children and get a lot of traction politically.

Like so much else in politics, the symbolism -- "message: I care," "it's about the children" -- matters more than any real substance.

The self-serving, rapacious, greedy and corrupt modern American political class wishes to lord over us with impunity of course, but I think there’s also a deeply ingrained hatred in American progs for privately owned firearms because they symbolize independence and free will. I guess you could sum it up as feudalism and the crab mentality.

Because tyrannical, police state governments can’t allow their firing squads to turn into shootouts.

The simple answer, is conservatives do not want liberals to have that power. Our government must not have complete power.

Quite reasonably.

What is happening however in America is that some conservatives are sending American jobs to China.

This increases unemployment in America, and increased the number of democrats.

The big problem is this process continues to this day, and democrats are becoming ever more powerful.

Republicans need to bring back American jobs.

By doing so, they will maintain power, and prevent democrats from taking over.

GOP, BRING BACK AMERICAN JOBS.

>>Because tyrannical, police state governments can’t allow their firing squads to turn into shootouts.<<

They don’t like being out numbered which they first learned about at the Bundy Ranch in Nevada. They knew their armed government thugs would be literally eradicated if they fired the first shot. It was a great awakening for them from where I stand.

Its so much easier to get unarmed people to do what you tell them especially at gunpoint.

Step 1: Say GOP, BRING BACK AMERICAN JOBS.

Step 2: See Step 1

The first step would be to lower the ridiculously high corporate tax rate from forty percent down to a competitive rate world wide. The House of Representatives must have a compliant and willing Senate to pass such legislation, not to mention a President willing to sign such a bill into law.

Neither the Senate or President are willing to do so and that equals gridlock. Blame gridlock on Republican’s pit the American people against big money and corporate America and you have the democrat plan for the future.
