Desperate Wildlife Extinction Claims are Part of the Warming Hoax
Canada Free Press ^ | 10/08/14 | Alan Caruba

Global warming periods and abundant carbon dioxide have never been causes of mass extinctions.

One thing that those of us who have been longtime observers and debunkers of the lies surrounding global warming and/or climate change have noticed is that the “Warmists” have gotten increasingly desperate after more than eighteen years in which there has been no warming.

As what they call “a pause” continues, they are coming up with some of the most absurd “research” to make their case. When you consider that not one single computer model produced by the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change or any of the other charlatans was accurate, one can imagine their sense of panic at this point.

Back during the Clinton administration, I remember seeing ads on late-night television that claimed that "rain forest" was being destroyed at the rate of 15,000 acres per day.

If memory serves, they were also claiming that entire species were becoming extinct at an amazing rate. Although I don't remember the exact claims, it was something like one species per day or ten species per week.

Species come and go.

So will ours.

I read somewhere that 98% of the species on this planet were extinct before man ever climbed down from the trees.

Here on the east coast, I sure wish we could make the Lyme Disease carrying hard ticks extinct. Am I so wrong? Or is it AGW that causes them to flourish?

Remember how they were pushing hard the story of the impending extinction of the polar bear? It seems their numbers have increased by every credible survey done up in the Arctic. Groups like Greenpeace and Polar Bear International padded their bankrolls from contributions with claims of the polar bear’s near extinction. Global warming has been one of the best financial scams the left has ever pulled off.

I remember when I was in 7th grade. It was middle school, I wanted to join a club. So I decided to meet the “earth club”. So they went on a spiel about the spotted owl and how the loggers were destroying them. So they convinced us to write them a letter in protest. I began to think of things I wanted to say, based on the limited information I have been given. The teacher (leader) of Earth club, pull up the overhead mat, and there was what she wanted us to write in our letters on the chalkboard previously blocked by the overhead mat.

I never went back to “earth club”, and latter realized that they completely rely on deceiving the most impressional members of our population to continue their lying agenda.

If you want some fun, the next time a GW Cult member makes that claim, ask them to name just 10 species that went extinct in the previous 12 months.
