Walker got it exactly right- unions are like terrorists

seiu-thugs

At CPAC, Scott Walker made a remark that caught the attention of many of the left, and some on the right:

OXON HILL, Md. (AP) — Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker said Thursday that his experience taking on thousands of protesters in his state helped prepare him to take on terrorists across the world.

The likely Republican presidential contender sparked pointed criticism from labor union leaders across the country after remarks delivered on the first day of the Conservative Political Action Conference in suburban Washington. The annual conference features more than a dozen potential Republican presidential contenders over three days hoping to win over conservative activists.

Asked how he would handle the Islamic State group if elected president, Walker said, “For years I’ve been concerned about that threat, not just abroad but here on American soil.”

“If I can take on 100,000 protesters, I can do the same across the world,” he said.

Cue the umbrage!
“It’s disgusting that Gov. Walker would compare everyday heroes – educators – to international terrorists,” said Betsy Kippers, a teacher and president of the Wisconsin Education Association Council.

“Gov. Walker, I know terrorism. I know that your own state’s citizens speaking up for what’s right isn’t terrorism,” said Jim Tucciarelli, a union representative in New York City whose office was one block away from the 9/11 attacks. “Today, after hearing your words, I also know the sound of cowardice.”

This also caught the attention of WisPolitics.com. What makes that interesting is that the editor of WisPolitics is one JR Ross, who has it in for Scott Walker and today labored to resurrect an alleged scandal.

Yesterday morning on Fox News even Chris Wallace called it a misstep.

But is it?

The story has fallen off the radar faster than a B2 bomber. Why?

Because the analogy is apt. Unions are like terrorists. They employ terrorist tactics.

Terrorism: the systematic use of terror especially as a means of coercion.

Terror: something that causes very strong feelings of fear, something that is terrifying

Strong feelings of fear as a means of coercion. Hmmmm. Witness:

Unions disrupt Kansas Legislature

According to reporting by Martin Hawver: “The Kansas House this morning — for the first time in decades — was interrupted by shouting from the balcony by opponents of the bill that would prohibit employers from providing union political action committee checkoff on paychecks.”
Unions Disrupt Traffic But Not Mayor Nutter As Contract Battles Drag On
Members of District Council 33 were joined by PGW workers for a few protest laps around City Hall, blocking traffic around the entire perimeter and creating a massive traffic jam in center city. Union members say they are still looking for what DC 33 leader Pete Matthews calls “a fair contract.”
I love this one: Union members disrupt cancer charity event
"They think being disruptive for their personal gain is more important than beating pancreatic cancer..."

Americans are historically an understanding and forgiving people.

There are usually few things that the average citizen would consider crossing the line.

Beating puppies, throwing rocks at a station wagon full of nuns, and purposefully attempting to disrupt a fundraiser for one of the deadliest forms of cancer would arguably rate in the top three.

Yet the latter of the three is exactly what union members did recently in New York City.

And this is a beauty:

Or, as I like to say:

Unions can ONLY!!!! exist because of government force applied selectively against private property owners (evil rich people),

ALL UNIONS REPRESENT GOVERNMENT SANCTIONED THEFT OF PRIVATE PROPERTY FOR THE PURPOSE OF BUYING DEMOCRAT VOTES.

I expect ignorance of this fact elsewhere, but here on FR??????????????????????

Here’s how the purely evil, anti-American, communistic, welfare-begging private sector unions work…..

I set up a business, using MY PRIVATE PROPERTY (my capital and/or cash money).
I pay for the space, using MY PRIVATE PROPERTY.
I pay the taxes using MY PRIVATE PROPERTY.
I supply the parts and inventory, using MY PRIVATE PROPERTY.
I pay for the insurance, using MY PRIVATE PROPERTY.
I pay the labor, using MY PRIVATE PROPERTY.
I recruit, hire, and advertise, using MY PRIVATE PROPERTY.
Oftentimes an entire life’s savings (MY PRIVATE PROPERTY) is at stake.
My future, my standing in the community, my credit, and MY PRIVATE PROPERTY are all at stake.
If I fail, I stand a good chance of being economically crippled for life.

One day, on MY PRIVATE PROPERTY that I own and acquired using MY PRIVATE PROPERTY, one of my employees, who is only in my presence because of the risk of MY PRIVATE PROPERTY, comes to me and says, “Here’s the story, Bub. From this moment forward I am going to begin organizing YOUR OTHER EMPLOYEES, to work AGAINST YOUR PRIVATE INTERESTS and do everything in our power to TAKE BY FORCE AS MUCH OF YOUR PRIVATE PROPERTY AS WE CAN GET OUR HANDS ON. We are going to spend a great deal of time and effort ORGANIZING AGAINST YOUR INTERESTS TO DO EVERYTHING IN OUR POWER TO GROW STRONGER AT YOUR EXPENSE, IN ORDER TO TAKE YOUR MONEY. You might as well have your business competitors working here on the shop floor. If you do not agree to our demands, we will go on strike, make your life miserable, harass and threaten and/or MURDER IN COLD BLOOD anybody you may want to hire in our place.”

Now the one and ONLY way that such a thing could EVER take place is for the government to step in and say, “Mr. Employer (rich, white, capitalist, male), if you fire this union man, you are going to jail.”

Plainly and simply, no union could ever exist in a free society. Yes, in a free society, you should be able to form and join a union of any type at any time for any purpose whatsoever. AND YOUR EMPLOYER SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIRE YOUR HAPPY ASS IN A HEARTBEAT FOR DOING SO.

FREEDOM IS A TWO WAY STREET.

I find this ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Truly. A man strolls onto the PRIVATE PROPERTY of another man and tells him how he will employ his PRIVATE PROPERTY going forward, OR ELSE!, and hundreds of millions, if not billions, of people the world over think that the first man is not only somehow better than sub-human filth, they actually see him as a hero! To me, this is one of the most perverse and mystifying examples of twisted human thinking the world has ever seen. I can’t say it enough; you come onto my PRIVATE PROPERTY, and bargain with me, using the THREAT OF GOVERNMENT SANCTIONED FORCE, about how much of my PRIVATE PROPERTY you will allow me to keep! And this is somehow acceptable?

As I say, even conservatives, (who have escaped the liberal brainwashing that begins when we are still in the womb on guns, race, US history, etc., etc., and do not subscribe to the easy notions that are so readily picked up by the unthinking) seem to fall for this trap. Seem to believe that…

“The work place is filled with mean managers and mean bosses who were/are really mean to kids and women and workers and paid them pennies instead of the legitimate millions that they were REALLY worth, making evil white male capitalists even richer, and they enslaved them and coerced them and made them work real hard and were really, really mean. THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for the government stepping in and saving women and children from mean bosses and really mean white capitalist men.”

Needless to say, each and every single word of that narrative is as totally false and ridiculous as the liberal narrative on US history, or bad guns, or evil white men. If you know people who believe that stuff, you cannot help them. DO NOT waste your breath on them, DO NOT do their research for them; have them read Sowell or Williams or von Hayek, or von Mises, or Friedman, or even Stossel when they write of “sweatshops” either in today’s 3rd world or in America at the turn of the century.

A few ‘extremist’ members committing violence, with the silent support of the ‘moderate’ members.

There are a lot of people, including me, who know from personal experience that unions employ terrorist thugs as one of their primary tactics for holding power. I celebrate with each decline in union membership and with each union that is decertified.

I’ve had the complete displeasure of being stuck behind a car that was trying to pull into a parking lot of a business being picketed by union workers. The language and threats were mindblowingingly disgusting. Nothing was off limits. They are are the scum of the earth.

Unions use many of the same tactics at terrorists, they just usually don’t go quite as far. For example, they will terrorize family members of someone they don’t like for months, but will stop short of beheading them.

The goal is also the same, to use intimidation and fear to force behavior.

When Right to Work is signed in WI I plan to burn my Teamster’s withdrawal card. I made a suggestion to a local group they they could sponsor a party like the old draft card burning parties....

While surfing TV this morning I paused to watch MSNBC, Tampon Tramp. ;^}
I have a question is she the model for Riley Freeman(Boondocks) or vice versa?

By her RANTS against Walker she is leaning more his way, than she knows!

If store owners/operators can shoot those that come to rob their business, why can’t big business owners/operators not shoot those that come to rob their business?

I heard from Scott Walker’s Freedom Summit speech what the union thugs did to him and his family. As he told the Iowa Freedom summit:

". . . all the death threats and the visits to our home . . . at one point, in all of this, there were literally thousands of protesters out in front of our family home in Wauwatosa; where my two sons were still going to high school. And where my two parents were living at the time. In fact, my kids were targeted on Facebook.

"And at one point I remember my mother, in her seventies; and my youngest son, Alex, were literally at the grocery store where protesters followed them down the aisle just to yell at them; even though it was me that was doing the policies out there."

"Even more so, than just the visits in front of our home, was the fact that, at one point, the threats were just overwhelming. Most of those death threats were directed at me, but some of the worst were directed at my family. I remember one of the ones that bothered me the most, was someone literally sent me a threat that said,

"they were going to gut my wife like a deer."

Another time a protester sent a threat directly to my wife that said that if she didn't do something to stop me,

"I would be the first Wisconsin governor ever assassinated."

The writer went on in greater detail to point out where exactly my children were going to school; where my wife worked; where my father-in-law was still living at that time. You could see what they were doing and so, I tell you today that . . . the protesters were trying to intimidate us."

"But, you know what, all they did was remind me how important it was to stand up for the people of my state. They reminded me of why I ran for governor in the first place."

The rhetoric coming from the Wisconsin union protestors (many from out of state) would come out of scripts written by the extremist Islamic savages. The union forces will hock their mothers to serve their self interests. Their immense war chest stocked with union dues derived from incomes our tax money have provided, will pay for a Walker defeat if he runs for President. I say,

Bring them on!

The union's noble purposes that helped the worker have stability in their working years has been corrupted into a union-government symbiosis. This noble relationship has evolved, not to the benefit of the worker, but to the benefit of the union and the pocketbooks of the politicians. It has abandoned its noble purpose for greed.

The unions have evolved over the decades into parasites for their own self-serving purposes--not the worker's. The life cycle of money thrives off the taxes taken from the life's blood of our hard earned wages. The government unions have sucked off our hard earned money for decades as this parasitical species has evolved into a more deadly being. To maintain its existence, they have sucked from the money flow to such an extent, that our cities have become wastelands and, the middle class, an endangered species. They will cry a river over greedy corporations and the greedy rich while their own greed for the public dollar has no comparison. It will be music to my ears to hear the squealing pigs as they go down with a Walker victory.

There are a lot of people, including me, who know from personal experience that unions employ terrorist thugs as one of their primary tactics for holding power.

Years ago, a buddy of mine worked at a small company making castings. He had to join the union or he couldn't get a job. After a while, he and the other workers saw no benefit of them paying dues, so they stopped. A few days later a Suit and two goons show up. The goons say that if dues weren't paid up, there would be some "accidents".

At that point, my buddy and his pals all took up the sledges used to open the moulds and said that the "accidents" wouldn't all be to them. The Suit steps in with the "Now, now fellas . . ." routine and promises that they would see some changes. Everything calmed down and they all left.

The workers foolishly started paying their dues again, and of course nothing changed. My buddy left soon after.

In the 50s and 60s I was forced to work in two unions - garment workers at Macy's in NYC while I was going to trade school, and the Typographers Union in San Diego. I never saw any violence or threats - just the flat out attitude of "Shut up and pay your dues". I went to the Typographers one time about a boss who thought it was still the 1930s and treated his workers accordingly. All they told me was "Well, Ole Walt is just a big bear. You'll have to put up with him." Luckily I heard about computer programming . . .
