Beck out of GOP: Why leaving is not enough

I was deep in the throes of thinking through the remainder of my column on building an alternative to the elitist factions sham two-party system when an email drew my attention to a WND story with the headline Glenn Beck: Im done with not good GOP. The sub-head read Declares he is no longer a Republican.
As the saying goes, truth in advertising requires that I declare my biases upfront. I dont trust Glenn Beck. Hes one of those people who strikes conservative poses on issues here and there, but expresses the utmost contempt for the issues of constitutional principle on which the perpetuation of Americas liberty depends. I explained this at some length in a column I wrote back in January 2010 in response to his statement that concern over Barack Obamas constitutional eligibility for the presidency was the dumbest thing Ive ever heard.

Mr. Keyes identifies the starting point of 0bummer's attack on the U.S. Constitution. It was when he tragically and mindlessly was given a free pass into the White House. Once Article II of the Constitution was thrown out the window by our Congressional representatives, it was all down hill from there. Of course, big shot BS politicians who participated in this treasonous betrayal of the Constitution and country will never admit it, but history will not judge their betrayal kindly. It was the green light for 0bummer on the road to become dictator-in-chief.

I have a lot of trouble paying attention to Glenn Beck. He sounds too much like a ShamWow salesman. “NEXT WEEK WE ARE ANNOUNCING A COMPLETELY NEW POSITION.”
Whatever......
To: Borderline
I stopped all notice of him when I finally had enough of him and his cohorts on-air on his radio program giggling, snickering and guffawing uncontrollably.
I could swear he and his butt buddies broke the seal on that fifth they had stored or had just smoked a doobie.
The man is a lunatic, IMO.

Sometimes, a wonderful message can be obscured by who delivers it.
So it is with Beck.

Glenn Beck explains The Root: Armies of Armageddon ( 2:20)
Published on Mar 19, 2015
What does Israel face?
What is the truth of those who want to kill the Jews and Americans?
Why is our President so wrong on the Middle East?
Before we spend another bullet, dollar, brother, father or son - we need to know who these psychotic killers are.
Quick look at what we are unveiling on tonight's episode of 'The Root'.

I wonder if Glenn was crying and weeping inconsolably when he made the big statement?

Sometimes, a wonderful message can be obscured by who delivers it. So it is with Beck. There is something to be said for staying on message. The times I have tried to listen to him, it feels like wandering about in tall grass, like over my head.

Lately Alan Keyes appears to be more of an opportunist himself. Splitting the negligible Constitution/Independence Party vote into even more negligible slices. I hope he enjoyed the plane trips, meals and hotel stays that his supporters provided him.

"Why do you not trust him?" Why is it a negative thing to mistrust a radio talking head?

I have a problem with his tolerance of homosexuals, BUT ...
Glenn Beck AND HIS WHOLE TEAM are reporting news that no one else is touching.
Review
TheBlaze on YouTube.com and think about it.

No, thanks. I’m not interested in giving clicks to Beck’s site. I have no use for his pro-queer views, and I think he’s a shyster and an emotional basket case.

Yes. Sometimes he has very good & informative days, but they are almost obliterated by the other nonsense that goes on. I rarely listen any more.

Glen beck is a mixed bag—some good, some bad, some evil some just sad. Thye Blaze idea is good and I look at it now and again—I watched his show until it got too preachey—is he a Conservative or Mormon Deacon? I loved his support of the Tea Party—in the early years. But he seems to have gone off track. I do not like his amnestry views or Gay Marriage (he could be at least Pro-Polyigamy—at least that would be historically Mormon). IS Beck thinking about starting a 3rd Party? or is he going all Libertarian like Penn—and other newscasters—a Cop Out in the classic sense. he has yet to launch his new news network on Cable. He has yet to launch his new film studio or Newspaper. He is all hot air—so far. BUT if he does something thats needed—I support him. If its just about His own ego and bank account—I am not.
