3–2. Specific restrictions, limitations, and other considerations
a. Selective benefit. Army participation must not selectively benefit (or appear to benefit) any person, group, or corporation (whether profit or nonprofit); religion, sect, religious or sectarian group, or quasi-religious or ideological movement; fraternal organization; political organization; or commercial venture. The ACOMs or organizations that provide support to a non-Federal entity must be willing to provide equal support to comparable events sponsored by similar non-Federal entities.
For the first Time in over two decades Army Officers at Fort Gordon, Georgia refused to provide an honor guard to a church’s service in celebration of America’s Independence. The public Affairs office at the fort stated that it would violate a military policy banning any involvement in a religious service, per Army Regulation 360-1. Their decision was based on Ft Gordon’s Office of the Staff Judge Advocate’s (JAG) opinion that a Churches’ Independence Day celebration was in fact a “religious service”.
If the JAGs can determine that any event held on Church ground is a religious service, what would their opinions be regarding military funerals or weddings? Heaven forbid anyone associated with the church—ANY church—should speak at the funeral of a soldier. Yet Chaplains of various denominations have served in the United States armed forces since the American Revolution.

This weakens the cohesiveness and spirit of the Army. “Onward, homosexual soldiers!” doesn’t have a motivating ring to it.

God wins in the end. The United States looks like it will be on the wrong side by the time that happens. If it happens tomorrow, the majority of the United States will be on the wrong side.

Yes.
Only 20% of Americans are in church on Sundays. When you ask them, they “had something else to do”. These are not committed disciples of Christ who will stand up to tribulation and persecution when that time comes. They will take the mark, swear allegiance to Allah, or just say, “I don’t know that man” when they are asked if they are Christian.
A majority of Americans WHO ARE ELIGIBLE TO VOTE re-elected Obama. Nearly 100% of those who are ineligible to vote prefer Obama. By 2012 we knew who he was and what he stood for and the nation still re-elected him.
The military leadership is not only accepting these restrictions on chaplains, they are embracing them as they embrace the gay agenda. They care more for their pension than for God or the things that the United States was founded upon. Every single person in the military today has enlisted or reenlisted under Obama, knowing what their leadership stands for (and what they do not stand for).

You have stated the truth. There are many false gods worshipped today, the same ones named in the Bible. But there is only one true God, and we have turned away from Him and are now running toward our new gods at breakneck speed. History provides many examples of where our present choices will lead.
This is what happens when you elect someone as President who has no connection what so ever to the military. Obama did not serve no one in his family ever served and he had no relatives close friends that served. He has no idea what the military is or what its purpose is. He has done more to harm the military then any other President or any war that our military has been involved in.....

The problem is much bigger and broader than one man. Barack Obama is merely a symptom of the greater malady, because he was the choice of a society that has turned its back on God. Unless the nation itself changes, a new president will not save our Republic.
