An astonishing number of American Muslims desire to have the choice of being governed by Sharia Law. According to a recent Center for Security Studies poll, A full 51% said that American Muslims should, "should have the choice of being governed according to shariah." The same percentage agreed that American Muslims should be able to be tried in a Sharia court rather than a civil court. Just 39% said that they should be subject to ordinary civil court. In the wider population the proportion was 92%. Almost a quarter agreed that violence could be justified against those that depicted the prophet Mohammed. About a quarter agreed that violence could be justified to bring Sharia law to the United States. A full 25% said that the Muslim Brotherhood represented their views. When asked regarding which law was truly supreme, 43% said the United States Constitution and 33% said Sharia law. 9% said that ISIS is the correct interpretation of Islam. Letting muslims be governed by sharia isn’t really the same as supporting it. I’m totally cool with muslims being held accountable under sharia, just don’t aim those laws at me. But if they want to risk being beheaded for saying the wrong thing, not my problem.

When will the folks get it? this is not a religion, but a world-domination movement cleverly disguised as a religion. It dominates their entire life and determines every action.
It’s hard for the folks to get it because their religion is a minor part of their lives and has very little influence over their daily actions. Religion, science, art, medicine, law, literature, recreation are all separate compartments of their lives.
