Pluto New Horizons Planetary ping
ANY WORD ON WHAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY?
Has it recovered?
Yes, it has fully recovered and is in perfect working order.
“To explore, strange new worlds...”
GREAT!
any word on the cause?
what is that?
What is what?
The left tail light was out, the ship wasn’t inspected in about ten years, the registration had expired long ago and New Horizons was cruising far too fast for the speed zone stipulated for the inhabited communities in the outlying Pluto area. But the cop let it go with a warning..(that Pluto must be re-designated as a planet or else these warnings will turn into warrants for arrest.)
I knew it was something like that
That’s because you’re smart.
Never been so excited about space exploration since the Voyager missions.
One of the guys I work with now was in charge of software for the Mars rover
he became my new boss and died a week later :(
(no they are not related)
I just wish I had a chance to talk to him about the mars rover.
Thanks all, extra to APoD et al!
