As I was reading this, the question that came to my head was this: How many liberal activist groups these days are anything more than nuisance groups - people who basically just # very loudly when someone says something they think they can portray as outrageous, or even just when someone on the other side of the spectrum shows up somewhere, and that gives them something to yelp about?
It seems to me that MoveOn.org crossed that line long ago, if they were ever on the other side of it in the first place. This is classic. Donald Trump hosting Saturday Night Live? We can’t have that! Oh, and why not? SNL certainly tends to lean left but it has never been the official and exclusive domain of liberal politics, nor has it ever shied away from personalities that aren’t universally loved. Having Andrew Dice Clay as host in 1990 cost the show Nora Dunn, which was no great loss if you ask me, but producers didn’t back down from Dunn’s protest because SNL has never been and can never be about sanitizing the cast and the content so as not to offend. Once that happens, you’ve lost your edge and you’re no longer Saturday Night Live.
They must think he’ll do a good job.
But leftists are all about “Freedom of Speech”....LOL!

It seems that liberals and progressives genuinely fear competition in any manner. If there is an organization they don’t like they try to shut it up by labeling the organization as racist or anti LGBT, or some hate group etc. This country has gone downhill with all this PC MC don’t upset anyone, let everyone do their thing BS.
Why the **** do these candidates feel the need to go on these shows and try and act funny and electable. How about they just hit the campaign trail and sell us who they really are and leave it at that? This is how screwed up we’ve become.
Screw these liberal trash shows!
We need to start groups to protest the protest-groups.
SNL has already had Clinton on. All other candidates fall under the “equal time” standard. Partisan gripers must be ignored.

Image is everything. Don’t underestimate the power of reaching millions of people that really haven’t seen your brand yet.
Was surprised to see them offer the host job. An appearance is standard fare these days, but the host job opens up all kinds of attacks like this from all sides.
Maybe that’s the point. SNL is using this election season to try to become relevant again. They’ve already had on Hillary and they did the big Bernie skit last week that got tons of attention.
MoveOn was founded by Hillary supporters.
SNL needs to parody Move On as a group of losers that refuse to ‘move on’.
Not to mention they want the viewership numbers. :=)
