Trump Wins ["Some of the rats might want to consider returning to the ship"]

Some of the rats might want to consider returning to the ship. Donald Trump came through pretty well tonight, mainly because the focus was on the issues. As long as issues are being discussed, Trump wins.

The moderators came out of the box with questions about Trump’s 2005 video, which many people expected to be the centerpiece of tonight’s debate. The effort flopped, I thought. Bill and Hillary Clinton took appropriate shots. After ten or fifteen minutes the conversation moved on to the issues.

Thereafter, the moderators tried to help Hillary, and Trump appropriately complained a couple of times. But he got his licks in. As always, he was sometimes incoherent, but more often than not, he made more sense than Hillary, who was in full Nurse Ratched mode.

Happily, immigration figured prominently. Shockingly, in the first debate the moderator never mentioned the topic. Tonight, it was discussed extensively. That is a big plus for Trump. The exchanges on foreign policy were inconclusive, of course, but in general I think Trump did better. And there was even talk about Obamacare, which is great for Trump and Republicans.

In general, I don’t like town hall formats, but the virtue of the format tonight is that there were lots of questions about issues as opposed to the usual political stuff. Issues are good for Trump.

Trump was Trump tonight–he had some great moments, and also some incoherent ones. But he swung for the fences, for example, going after Hillary on her criminal conduct with regard to handling of national secrets. Hillary was Hillary. She yaks away in a manner that most people find obnoxious, and leaves herself open to the observation that she is all talk and no action.

The last few minutes were good for Trump. The question was, what do you admire about your opponent? Trump’s tribute to Hillary as a persistent fighter was well done.

In short, Trump won. In my opinion, he won big. We will see whether it matters.

This is exactly why liberals always try to avoid issues and focus on personal attacks that have nothing to do with anything.

He could have said she’s a persistent fighter for children (as per her ad), but as president, we need more than that, we need someone like me.

I think that it is a mischaracterization to refer to Trump's freewheeling conversational style as "incoherent."

He does digress often, and sometimes goes off on a tangent - but nothing he says could be accurately described as "incoherent."

Regards,

["Some of the rats might want to consider returning to the ship"]

A fitting description.

I think as January comes, with a President Trump....there are four things which will start to occur.

1. The ‘rats’ who established themselves as fake-GOP types, need to be exercised on a daily basis and just let go by the public.

2. The newspapers and news groups which continue a anti-Trump theme into January....need to be let go. I think several newspapers will fold by summer of 2017, and CNN will go through a financial crisis by the end of the year....unable to pay bills.

3. I think the FBI will be brought in and at least a dozen individuals will be told to retire. A complete review of what they did wrong will be displayed by the year’s end and force major changes to the structure.

4. I think IRS will find itself in deep waters with various people who thought they were unfireable....being sent to some warehouse to sort papers for the rest of their career. Congress might investigate the punishment dealt out to the career employees but the internal reports will shock the public.

Only incoherent to leftist brainwashed buttholes who aren’t capable of processing things that veer off PC scripting.

Trump took command of that stage and never ceded it to incoherent Hillary.
( there, fixed it)

I really wish he would point out that it was HER side that dragged the campaign into the gutter with the release of the tape and the attacks re Machado, the Khan’s et al.

The reverse cones are on the anchor ropes so there is no way to sneak back on this time.

Hard to say that when the woman who was 12-years-old when raped and brutally beaten before being debased by her was in the audience....

Malignant narcissist Hillary couldn’t even say one nice thing about Trump. She complimented his children instead. In her disordered mind she’s psychologically split him off as totally evil.

The fact that Hillary and her campaign can do almost nothing but engage in personal attacks against Trump, or get various media organisations to issue skewed polls in an attempt to discourage Trump voters, is a simple confirmation of the fact that Hillary has nothing. I have yet to see Hillary Clinton put forth any kind of a comprehensive plan to improve this country. She hits on various issues like climate change or racism, but has absolutely no clue about how to fix the economy or how to keep this nation out of trouble overseas. It isn’t just that her ideology has been an utter failure over the past several decades, but she herself is utterly incompetent. It is stunning to me but she is doing as well as she is in the polls (those that I trust), and is also a very sad commentary on the state of this nation.

If she manages to win this election by hook or by crook, it will be the end of this country. The economy will simply never recover, while she will exacerbate our budget problems until the economy collapses. The collapse of the economy, slow at first but reaching a crescendo later, will lead to ever increasing racial tensions throughout this country. Of course, under Hillary, this situation will not improve or be solved any more than it has been under Obama. Hillary will, of course, do everything in her power, legal or not, to outlaw gun ownership by civilians. Overlaying everything will be the legalization of tens of millions of illegal immigrants, and the admission of many millions more during her first term. There will never be another Republican president if she becomes president. Again, it will literally be the end of this country.

In view of this certainty, it is beyond exacerbating to see the jackasses in the Republican Party not doing every single thing that they can to defeat Hillary. We are facing a challenge to the very existence of this country unlike any since the Civil War. All that they care about, apparently, is there perks and privileges, not this country. I can honestly say that I wouldn’t mind seeing some of these people swinging from lamp posts. I am so utterly disgusted that if Trump does not win this election, I will probably withdraw from the political process, because there will be no point or purpose in being involved at that point. The pseudo Republicans that have been running the party for the past couple of decades have led us to ruin, led us to a position like we are in today where the uber-Leftist Democrats are within spitting distance of under control of every aspect of life in this country. At this point, it seems like the only hope is either divine intervention, or a literal Civil War to overthrow the alley and ideology embodied in the leftist Democrats. This is the Legacy of the internationalist, corporatist, country club Republicans. A pox on all of them.
