November 8: It’s Déjà Vu All Over Again
self | October 26, 2016 | Art in Idaho

Less than two weeks left. What are we looking at today?

Trying to predict anything at this point is anyone’s guess. The polls are all over the place but definitely biased in Hillary’s favor. What data do we have to help us prognosticate? My thoughts were the 2014 mid-terms, the primaries and the Brexit vote.

The 2014 midterms were a blowout for the Republicans. Granted, the turnout was low, but the Republicans still won and the anti-Obama vote was evident: “In our survey last month, 32% of registered voters said they thought of their vote for Congress as a vote against Obama.” (from 6 facts about the electorate on midterm day) I think it was higher than that. Regardless, 2014 was a very good year for Republicans and the factors that made that happen have only intensified. Are people going to miss their last chance to vote against Obama and everything he represents? I don’t think so.

The issues that propelled the 2014 midterms are still there. Many people thought it was a vote against Obamacare and Obama himself. That hasn’t changed and a whole lot of things have happened since then. You could write volumes, but that said, the silent rage buildup from the direction the country is going and the continual war against America by Obama, Hillary and the rest of the Marxists is beginning to really grind average Americans. Any American who is not angry about the events of the last eight years is either one of the 20% hard core communists among us or is just not paying attention.

The 2016 primary elections were revealing. Trump blew out the numbers with a record Republican turnout.

Which party did best overall? “Mr. Trump drew many new voters to the primaries. His total vote tally - 13.3 million votes. If you tally the total Republican votes fetched by the four top candidates, they pulled in a total of 28.5 million primary voters, compared with 27.7 million for the two Democratic contenders.” From: Hillary Clinton v. Donald Trump: A Look at the Numbers And there’s this: HISTORY! Trump Shatters Republican Primary Vote Record by 1.4 Million Votes Check out those numbers!

Also, to Trump’s credit, from the article: “Trump may also be the first candidate in the modern era to have funded his campaign by himself during the primary season. Although his results are much more impressive, he only spent a quarter the amount of money as Democrats Clinton and Sanders. He proved to be the real capitalist in the primary while Clinton and Sanders proved to be the socialists freely spending other people’s money.”

I could go on a rant about Obama and Hillary but 100 pages is too much for a FR post. You all know the data. The problem is, a lot of Americans still do not.

The Brexit vote was a shock to the democrats. It was the voice of freedom from the Brits. The nationalists/populists won. From Wikipedia: "The United Kingdom (UK) intends to withdraw from the European Union (EU), a process commonly known as Brexit, as a result of the June 2016 referendum in which 51.9% of votes were cast in favor of leaving the EU." Leave was behind by 10 points on the day of the election. A vote for independence.

Trump has frequently compared his campaign to that of the UKIP campaign to take Britain out of the European Union. "They will soon be calling me MR. BREXIT," he tweeted Aug. 18.

Sidebar issues: 70% of Americans think the country is going in the wrong direction. They’re sick of the socialist/Marxist takeover of America. They’ve had it with the PC culture. They resent the Common Core brainwashing of their children. The orchestrated tantrums at BLM rallies. The anti-police quagmire. Open borders. The immigration and refugee mess. Hillary’s “Open Borders” and “bring in anyone” comments. MSM, (volumes). WikiLeaks. The O’Keefe tapes. The whole email/server/Comey boondoggle. Potential espionage. The Clinton Foundation syndicate/money laundering/pay-to-play corruptosphere. The Federal laws broken. Obamacare as a path to single payer. The Supreme Court. The 2nd Amendment. Again, I could go on and on, but I think for a multitude of reasons, Americans are Fed Up and want to see a huge change. Trump represents change like no other since Reagan.

In summary, On November 8, the factual data is indeed in Trump’s favor:

I The Results of the 2014 Midterms. The reasons for that vote have only increased exponentially.

II The Republican Primary Turnout was record breaking.

III The ant-globalist Brexit surprise.

These three issues are historical truth. The overall enthusiasm and comparative numbers at the rallies are other factors.

Let’s hope the reasons for I, II and III have only increased since the primaries. At this point the key is turnout, especially in the battleground states. The Movement continues to grow. Is America looking at a monster vote?

Trump/Pence 2016!

Vote as if your life and that of your family depends on it. It does.

I would also add that 60% of the public believes Hillary is corrupt, not outstanding, but probably good enough...

Good point. Would love to see a 60/40 result on the evening of November 8. .

Vote on November 8th. The longer the lines, the better the party. Voters should embrace this opportunity and plan for long waits. Chant, cheer, be patriotic, and sing to the world, Americans have had enough. This might be it folks, embrace it.

Obama said his goal was to redistribute the wealth and he made good on his promise by giving me less and changing the policies of the Fed to punish savers. If you want more of the same, if you want the Democrats rubbing their hands with glee over how much more they can steal from the middle class and get away with it to give it to protected groups and non-Americans, then vote for Hillary.

Right on the money. Why people don't get this is beyond me.

My thoughts were the 2014 mid-terms, the primaries and the Brexit vote.

Plus the Governor's race in KY last year. Pre-election polls showed Bevin behind by 5; he won by 8.

I don't know who's going to win, but I know I'm going to vote against Mrs. Bill Clinton.

Oh yes, I forgot about the Bevin vote. That was a real surprise. Point IV.

I’d like to add one angle to your very extensive list of Americans’ grievances.

In eight long years, Precedent Obama hasn’t done one solitary thing that was good for America, or its citizens. Not one.

We have literally spent close to three thousand days waking up to yet another slap in the face, embarrassment, shock, horror, insult, injury, disappointment, cringe-inducing moment, betrayal, or flat out buffoonery from this man.

Never, have the American people endured such an ongoing assault to every sense and pain receptor, from their own president.

We couldn’t be more ready for change, and that is why Trump will be president.

Well said! Right on the money.

When I read: In eight long years, Precedent Obama hasn't’t done one solitary thing that was good for America, or its citizens. Not one. it was like a slap in my face. I can't think of One Thing either. Everything you listed plus the attitude, the petulance, the arrogance. . as usual, could go on and on. Man, not one thing. . Assault is a good word too. Man o' man, Jan 20 can't come soon enough.

We couldn't’t be more ready for change, and that is why Trump will be president.

I sincerely hope enough Americans get it. The MSM fights tooth and nail to suppress, ignore or spin everything about Obama and Hillary. We shall see. . Thank God for the Internet.
