GOP House Leader: Hillary Investigations Not on Agenda
The Daily Beast ^ | 11/13/2016

Posted on 11/13/2016 1:30:52 PM PST by E. Pluribus Unum

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy said on Sunday that the lower chamber is not planning further congressional investigations of Hillary Clinton. “The agenda is going to be about job creation, it’s going to be about reforming and repealing Obamacare. It’s going to be on infrastructure,” McCarthy said on “Fox News Sunday,” adding that he would leave further inquiries regarding Clinton to law enforcement officials. Several House committees have investigated Clinton over her use of a private email server and her handling of the attack in Benghazi, Libya.

don’t need the ineffective House to investigate anything. We need a special prosecutor to be named. Then Congress and Executive Branch can be about their important business.

The House couldn’t catch Hillary if she machine-gunned Congress-critters in front of their faces.

Let real local and federal investigators do their job.

I am not sure what the right venue is, but I think it’s time to get everything out in the open. Let posterity be the judge.

“House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy said on Sunday that the lower chamber is not planning further congressional investigations of Hillary Clinton.”

Good. You guys have allowed ritual treason to go uninterrupted for 6 years. Tits on a bull and all that...

He (or some other Repub in the House) also said they would leave the investigation of Hillary’s crimes to “law enforcement”. Once we have a new AG, that arrangement will work just fine.

I AM GLAD ABOUT THIS - no need to detract from the primary goals of President Trump!

Agree. If she isn’t prosecuted it will show Americans that some people ARE above the Law. The Laws of this country have to be followed and ALL people should be prosecuted if they don’t adhere to the Law. Period.

We need to keep the pressure up to eliminate voter fraud. Everything will be better going forward if this is done. It will force Dems to move to the middle if they want to compete in elections...win-win.

An independent prosecutor is what I prefer as there will be COI and the potential of obstruction of justice.

I hope the FBI and other law enforcement works quietly to discover the truth, and will deliver justice if/when crimes are discovered. I don’t particularly want Congress involved where it will probably not be effective and will look partisan.

The Clintons have repudiated by the American people, lets not Congress bogged down with the them...

we have far too many problems to fix by being distracted...

the Clintons will eventually hang themselves with their arrogance...

from the Daily Beast:
Several House committees have investigated Clinton over her use of a private email server...

Sounds rather harmless, something anyone's grandmother might do. Until it is more completely and accurately described:
Several House committees have investigated Clinton over her many on-going breaches of national security...

One wonders how the history books will describe it for future generations. This female presidential candidate's "stunning loss" will no doubt be described as an example of "sexism".

We just have not yet become sufficiently familiar with this snake McCarthy because the alleged "leadership" big business suck ups of the GOP make such a target rich environment: Boehner (boo hoo!), Cantor (boo hoo!), next up Lyin' Ryan, then McCarthy and their subordinate whore from Louisiana who is not yet on our radar screen. I want a political graveyard of treasonweasel GOP-E whores. The more burials the better.

In other news, self-serving greedhead "GOP-E" ex-Congresscritter Aaron Schock (Weasel-Peoria, IL) was FINALLY indicted on Friday by a federal grand jury on charges that could (but likely won't) net young Aaron about 200 years in the federal hoosegow. I'll settle for convictions on everything and an effective sentence to keep him behind bars until he is 105 years old after all "time off for good behavior." When, oh when, can they get around to indicting, convicting and jailing my district's Adam Showboat (NeverTrump) Kinzinger?

AND, we won't have Mark Nancyboy Kirk to kick around anymore. One by one, we are reforming the Illannnoy GOP.
