The L.A. Times reports that the couple had custom invitations printed in advance with the assumption that Hillary Clinton would be president and the national mood would be jolly. Alas, no one feels like partying, so the invitations were sent out with not only a cancellation notice inside, but a note saying that the party budget would be donated instead to Planned Parenthood, Housing Works, and the Stonewall Foundation.

And, obviously, from the party pic in the article, they surely did "don [they] now [their] gay apparel."
Wow, this is the best news.... I can’t wait to see other paradigms shift in culture. Good choice. Shut down the party and have them go back to designing bathroom curtains.
Really; this will be the merriest Christmas for many of us in eight years. The electoral maps give a good indication as to where Christmas will be celebrated, and where “holiday parties” may be canceled...
On the night of the election, I had several friends in West Hollywood partying in anticipation of Hillary winning.
By 11pm I realized no one had txt’d me with their commie touts so, I txt’d then instead:
“Hey, I think something is wrong with my phone. Can you txt me back?”
Of course it was pretty clear Trump was winning by this time and I didn’t hear from anyone until the next day.
Both responses were the same “How, texting you back. Let me if it works”
To which I responded “Oh hey, I figured out what was wrong. I Forgot To Push The Trump Button”.
Who cares?
