Who “Wire Tapped” President Trump?
The Coach's Team ^ | 3/20/17 | Jim Emerson

On Jan 20, 2017, Inauguration Day, the New York Times print edition featured on the front page “Wiretapped Data Used in Inquiry of Trump Aides." From the Article:

“The F.B.I. is leading the investigations, aided by the National Security Agency, the C.I.A. and the Treasury Department’s financial crimes unit. The investigators have accelerated their efforts in recent weeks but have found no conclusive evidence of wrongdoing, the officials said. One official said intelligence reports based on some of the wiretapped communications had been provided to the White House.”

And:

“Numerous news outlets, including The New York Times, have reported on the F.B.I. investigations into Mr. Trump’s advisers. BBC and then McClatchy revealed the existence of a multiagency working group to coordinate investigations across the government.” Americans will find out when FBI Director Comey meets with congress next week.

After the now famous Tweet from President Trump on 4 March, the Times changed the On-line headlines to “Intercepted Russian Communications Part of Inquiry into Trump Associates.” Now they have a dilemma: either admit the President was correct, change their story to protect their sources or admit it was fake news. As for investigation, so far the agencies are in full denial mode. The edits were made to appear that the Russian Embassy was the actual target.

Louise Mensch of Heatstreet reported that two counter-intelligence agents had confirmed that the FBI sought and was granted a FISA court warrant in October giving them permission to target Donald Trump and advisors’ ties to Russia. The FBI’s counter-intelligence arm was targeting Trump Tower to discover possible financial and banking offences. In other words, it was a fishing expedition.

Judge Andrew Napolitano has been reporting that the Obama administration bypassed American assets, NSA, CIA and the Department of Justice. The Barack Regime simply...

If nothing else comes out of these hearings, this question MUST be answered: Was the January 20th NYT article true or false? If true, the intelligence agencies are now lying. If false, it was fake news. The Republicans must drive a wedge between the NYT and the deep state intelligence people. If the Republicans fail to hone in on this point, the hearings will have been a travesty.

Better questions: Who surveilled Trump, why, and to whom/what was the info obtained disseminated?

If the GWB admin also had the Brits surveille Trump, you’re gonna need a bigger graphic.

Investigate Obozo’s directors of the CIA (John Brenan) and the NSA (James Clapper) and the super secret super computer the two agencies employ called The Hammer.

The legal quicksand they're in makes the deniability understandable....evidenced by the paper trail left by Obama and his minions, aside from the electronic trail. Two FISA oks were requested to tap Trump....and apparently, one, perhaps two were granted. There is no doubt that Trump was tapped by Obama (that is to say, his minions).

FISA TIMELINE

June 2016: FISA request. The Obama administration files a request with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA) to monitor communications involving Donald Trump and several advisers. The request, uncharacteristically, is denied.

October 2016: FISA request. The Obama administration submits a new, narrow request to the FISA court, now focused on a computer server in Trump Tower suspected of links to Russian banks. No evidence is found — but the wiretaps continue, ostensibly for national security reasons.

===========================================

The Obama wire-tapping gang WILL have to face the music.

(JIM0216 hat tip)......the issue isn't whether Trump was wiretapped (Obama admitted such and there's a FISA paper trail...... warrants issued for the wiretapping). The issue is whether there was probable cause to issue a warrant. Probable cause is defined as the reasonable likelihood that a crime is or has been committed by the person or at the place designated........

===============================================

(REAGANGENERATION2 HAT TIP)---Trump should be able to review all 2 or 3 FISA requests (if he hasn’t already), and then let Congress determine if the requesters lied about the probable cause justifying them......then (1) you’d prove perjury, and, even worse, (2) the intent was to abuse executive power.

===========================================

A good beginning....and then it gets downright lethal for the Obama gang:

Via Breitbart, JOHN HAYWARD observed that the FISA court may have approved a warrant submitted without Trump’s name but “which Obama then misused to spy on Trump and many connected to Trump.”

Ergo the most serious legal jeopardy that might be faced would be (a) perjury for lying to the FISA court, and, (b) the dissemination of collected intelligence that should have been kept tightly classified.

===========================================

It is also entirely possible that Obama and his legal team may have perjured themselves before the FISA court by willfully withholding material information in order to manipulate the FISA court’s willingness to permit the government surveillance.

FALSIFYING GOVT DOCUMENTS would fall under the Crimes Act of 1958. Moreover, falsifying official documents is the criminal MO to hide larger crimes.

EXCERPT A person falsifying documents can be held criminally liable if they are deliberately acting with the intention of deceiving or defrauding another party.

Falsifying documents is a very serious offense and is generally classified as a felony. This means that a person charged with falsifying documents may be subject to the following legal penalties:
◾Having to pay a monetary fine
◾Incarceration in a prison facility

Depending on the gravity of the offense, as well as individual state laws, falsifying documents can result in a prison sentence of 5-10 years.

And if official government documents or govt authorities were involved, the legal penalties may be more severe. Legal penalties may increase with repeat offenses.

Many different types of acts can be considered as falsifying a document, including:
◾Altering or misrepresenting fact-based information
◾Stating false information when requested to provide truthful statements
◾Forging a signature
◾Using official letterheads without authorization
◾Knowingly using or distributing a fake document

The penalty for falsifying government documents is outlined in the Crimes Act of 1958. (excerpt) three/18

The head of Britain’s electronic surveillance agency GCHQ has resigned!

23 January 2017*

Robert Hannigan, who has held the post of GCHQ director since 2014, said he was stepping down for family reasons.
He said he was proud of his work but that 20 years in public service roles had “demanded a great deal of my ever patient and understanding family”.

Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson said Mr Hannigan had “led the renewal” of national security capabilities to fight terrorism during his time at GCHQ.

Mr Hannigan was director general of defence and intelligence at the Foreign Office before taking over the leadership of GCHQ in 2014.

In a letter to the foreign secretary, he said he was proud of the work he had done and “how many lives have been saved in this country and overseas by the work of GCHQ” but added “now is the right time for a change in direction”.

Mr Hannigan said it was “right” that a new director be in place ready for GCHQ’s 100th anniversary in 2019, but he would stay in the post until a replacement was appointed.

‘Cyber defences’
Sources have told BBC security correspondent Gordon Corera that the resignation was not the result of any concerns over policy in the UK or in the US.

Mr Johnson thanked him for his service, saying he had “set the groundwork for a major transformation of our cyber defences” during his tenure.

There will now be an internal competition within government to identify candidates for the job. Recommendations will then be sent to Mr Johnson and Prime Minister Theresa May for a final decision.

Mr Hannigan was born in Gloucestershire and is a married father-of-two.
He was previously responsible for the UK’s first cyber security strategy, oversaw the first national security strategy, and chaired Cobra emergency committee meetings on terrorist incidents.
He also worked as principal adviser to then Prime Minister Tony Blair on the Northern Ireland peace process.

But it IS NOT kinda nice to see Comey stirring the pot again. I surely do hope that Trump has some ammunition forthcoming to blunt this naked attack by the RATs. The “public hearing” was more like a public hanging, and the media (including Fox) is already beating the drum that this is “explosive.”

It is nothing but a dog and pony show. I wonder if they have teleprompters for when they give their little speeches. The fact the gope let this go on in this fashion is surfacing them as the enemy within. I hope Trump is taking names and when any of those a holes run in a primary, he goes out and supports the opposition.

Trump, after Nixon, is going to be the most investigated and probably the most libeled by innuendo of any president in modern history.
