Media analysts wonder just how far the news media will go in their efforts to undermine President Trump. Well, they will go pretty far. National Rifle Association CEO Wayne LaPierre recently noted that “organized hatred” is unprecedented against the new administration — “amplified by a national media that has thrown out the rules of journalism and has become a part of the mob.”
Strong words. But there are strong words in journalism as well. This week, the Los Angeles Times offers a four-part, unsigned editorial series titled “Our Dishonest President.”
The first installment ran Sunday, proclaiming this: “It was no secret during the campaign that Donald Trump was a narcissist and a demagogue who used fear and dishonesty to appeal to the worst in American voters. The Times called him unprepared and unsuited for the job he was seeking, and said his election would be a ‘catastrophe.’ Still, nothing prepared us for the magnitude of this train wreck.”
The Democratic National Committee immediately shared the Times missive in full with its membership — and there are three more to come. Like Hillary Clinton — whose new motto is “resist, insist, persist, enlist” —the Times is issuing a call to battle, ramped up through the vast feedback loop of the Democratic Party itself.
“Those who oppose the new president’s reckless and heartless agenda must make their voices heard. Protesters must raise their banners. Voters must turn out for elections,” the paper noted, adding, “All of us who are in the business of holding leaders accountable must redouble our efforts to defend the truth from his cynical assaults.”

Wonder if it’s part and parcel to Susan Rice’s behavior about a week ago. She admonished Trump to “stop spreading lies.” Today I’ve seen reports that she is the person who unmasked Trump associates re surveillance. So if the accusation is true, then another Freeper suggested that Rice’s scolding re “spreading lies” was to prepare for her own defense - she’ll insist charges, if any result, are just “lies” and retaliation for her scolding him. And now the hysteria in the paper re the OP; the groundwork is being prepped, I think, to denounce Trump and his administration of making up accusations re Rice et. al.

I read the Times 5 days a week for free at a coffee shop. Just for the glee of witnessing the wailing and gnashing of teeth. typical run. 2 anti-trump satires on first page, one on Cal impact of Evil Trump policies on innocent migrants (read illegal aliens). One store on the plight of people trying the escape those countries Trump is banning. A story in the business section on bad, bad trump economic policies. 6 out of 7 letters to the editor on related topics oppose trump. Language used the Times would not allow a pot-trumper or conservative to use. Language in letters to the Calendar and Sports section. In the age of oppression by our elected officials thank God it’s baseballs eason or that play has opened to tell us the truth.
I never thought living and winning would be so much fun. WINNING! As a clarification, is it OK to laugh at these LIB criminal lunatics? Hahahaaaa.
This is true and it's time for President Trump to throw out some rules of his own and call up the militia to apprehend the enemies of this country -- not "throw out" as in discard, but "throw out" as in "invoke" or "appeal to," because the militia power of the president is undeniable and very real indeed.
I know this was part of an April Fool's joke this morning, but it's time -- if we want to survive as a nation. imho

I'm guessing the Times hasn't done a story on the plight of the white Christian So. Africans and Zimbabweans being slaughtered in the streets and on their farms, and the near-impossible time they have trying to get legal residency in Western countries.

Times journalists only have 406 more weeks of Trump...2,912 more days.Pull out those markers and put an "X" through each day...2,912 and counting.
I have been bak in soCal since 1995 and nearly twice a week the times has run a “poor illegal alien family story>’ I have heard they will not run letters debunking global warming. I have seen pro-GW ones, but not the truth
