An Education Department watchdog says a Louisiana man has unsuccessfully tried to obtain President Donald Trump's tax information using an online student aid tool.
Inspector General Kathleen Tighe told a House hearing Thursday that the attempt took place in September, several weeks before the presidential election. The man tried to access Trump's records with the help of a data retrieval tool used by college students applying for financial aid....

I don’t think President Trump would need to use financial aid for his children in schools.
Perhaps he should have acquired an education before he sought financial aid.
I love that the man’s name isn’t mentioned, but he was charged and is being prosecuted. It seems like quite a detail to leave out of a story.

Good point. I tend to think that accused people shouldn’t have their names and pictures plastered around the world until they’re convicted, but obviously that policy should apply universally if at all.
In this case, you may have a lone wolf, or very possibly, a person with direct connections to the top rungs of the DNC. Sure would be nice to know who he is, so that the sleuths at 4Chan and Reddit can look for any links.
