For the life of me I can not figure how he missed so much on a ball field.
God had to be involved.
Not exactly who you would expect from the name(Jimmy Lam)
The pistol is bulky as hell but works
I have a Sig Sauer/Mauser that I might trade you for it LOL
Bulky POS
Funny how this is the first time I have seem Jimmy Lam.
I think you are correct.
No, that was one of his victims. Big Teddy Bear Mike Lefiti
To bad the trigger is 20 yards of gravel
Not him...that was one of his victims. One of the Victims Has Been Named as Big Teddy Bear Mike Lefiti.

God had to be involved.
Agreed.
I'm also thinking that the 2 Capitol police officers who (eventually) returned fire were able to keep the assailant's attention enough to prevent him being able to take many carefully aimed shots.
In other words, once the assailant was aware of the officers' presence, his instinct for self-preservation probably kept him from nonchalantly waltzing around and killing GOP Congressmen at his leisure.
I would speculate that in the 2-on-1 situation that emerged, at least one officer—if not both—tried to flank the attacker, while the other may have "kept him busy" with covering fire.
In any event, I'd very much like to read the account of the officers "taking the perp out", as it probably makes for a very interesting tactical case study. Two (trained) individuals armed with handguns were able to neutralize an (effectively untrained) attacker armed with an AR-15 (or some such) and many dozens of rounds. Well done on the part of the officers, for sure...
I hate the trigger, its creepy and then crunchy and then it snaps.
Its accurate and dependable
Did I mention its the size of a C9?
Yes I would agree.
Gotcha
Thanks, I never saw it in any news I’ve seen.
Yes you can but I heard the recording. he was not doing that
I heard the recording as well.
It appeared to me that there was plenty of time for reloads using stripper clips.
A reload with stripper clips can be done in under five seconds, with practice. He did some practicing, we know that.
The tough part is differentiating between the rifle shots and the pistol shots in the recording.
Per this "CBS SF Bay Area" broadcast on youtube, the photo is not the culprit but a victim:
Aftermarket 30 round mags are almost impossible to put in with ought shooting your self"
Wrong on both counts.
I have 2 of them and use 10,20, and 30 rnd mags as well as an 80-rnd drum. Many a reload over the past 20-plus-years without inadvertently committing suicide.
It is strange that the media has completely refrained from publishing any photo of Jimmy Lam. I can’t even find his dui mugshot for which he was convicted a few years ago. This is weird, and while I understand that a bunch of Congress critters being targeted for assassination is very, very important and newsworthy, I don’t understand the media’s silence on Lam’s photo. Very weird.
I did a search for this story last night because we heard something about it while in the car. The story that came up had something about an “assault pistol” in it that sounded pretty crazy (the term). Info on this story has been somewhat hard to find.
